---- Chapter 46: First Time Watching Someone Else Make Out The moment Clara pushed open the half-closed door, any trace of awkwardness vanished-because, honestly, she didn't even have time to feel awkward. Her eyes were too busy locking onto a live celebrity make-out session. On the couch, a man and a woman were wrapped around each other like vines, totally ignoring the world around them. They were kissing like nobody else existed-hot and heavy, no holding back. Clara was completely entranced, blushing furiously, her eyes wide like she was watching a live drama unfold right in front of her.
It was... thrilling! But just as things got steamy, a big hand suddenly blocked her view. Everything went dark for a second, and then-whoosh-Aaron spun her around and pulled her behind a folding screen into a private booth. It was her first time seeing people go at it like that in real life. Clara was not okay. She practically growled at him, "What the hell was that for?!" ---- Aaron looked calm as ever. "You were about to drool." Clara instinctively wiped at the corner of her mouth. What?! No, she wasn't! Aaron poured her a cup of tea like nothing happened. "Here. Try this.
It's from the tea garden behind the house." The scent of the tea was incredible and instantly hijacked her attention. Clara's eyes lit up. "Wait-there's a tea garden here? I have to check it out later." She sipped the tea while glancing around. The room had a minimalist vibe, stylish but cozy, and the screen in the middle gave it a private, intimate feel. It was the perfect spot for a small hangout with friends. After two cups of tea, Scarlett and Derek finally strolled in, all graceful and composed like they hadn't just been devouring each other on the couch moments ago.

Their calm was Oscar-worthy. Derek grinned. "Mrs. Devereaux! So glad we finally meet. This is my girlfriend, Scarlett." Clara stood up and warmly shook Scarlett's offered hand. "The pleasure's all mine, Ms. Campbell. You're just as stunning in person as you are on screen." Scarlett laughed easily. "Oh, don't call me that! I haven't ---- won Best Actress-yet. Just a nomination." "Well, it's only a matter of time! You're so talented-I love your work. That romance movie you did had me bawling. And the male lead? So ridiculously handsome!" Clara's eyes sparkled with excitement.
She felt like she'd morphed into a mini paparazzo tonight, and there was no way she was going home without some juicy gossip. "Thanks for the love! And yeah, he's just as hot in real life. I'll introduce you sometime-we're tight," Scarlett said with a dazzling smile, eyeing the woman in front of her with genuine admiration. Clara was stunning-elegant features, a radiant smile, and those clear, intelligent eyes. She wore a soft green, knee-length dress that fit her slim figure like a dream. Her vibe was clean, warm, and natural-totally magnetic.
Even Scarlett, who'd been in showbiz long enough to get jaded, had to admit-Clara was the kind of beauty you didn't see every day. Sitting beside the ice-cold Aaron, they looked strangely perfect together. It was a visual match made in heaven. "I'm really glad I got to meet you," Scarlett added. "When Derek told me Aaron got married, I thought he was full of it. But now that I see you? Yeah, makes total ---- sense. No wonder the man finally cracked." Scarlett had zero diva attitude. She plopped right down next to Clara like they were already best friends.
After dating Derek for over three years and seeing Aaron here and there, she considered him familiar enough. But in all that time, she'd never seen a woman, get anywhere close to the famously untouchable Greystone bachelor. A few friends in the industry had even begged her to introduce them to Aaron, and he'd shut them all down without blinking. No texts back, no WhatsApp replies, nothing. So now Scarlett was dying of curiosity.
"Come on, spill-how did you manage to win over the Ice King himself?" Women's friendships were wild like that-one was eager to share, the other ready to listen, and boom! In three minutes flat, the two were chatting like they'd grown up together. The poor men didn't stand a chance. Within moments, they'd been completely sidelined. It wasn't until Tristan came to call them for dinner that the two finally hit pause. Aaron handed Clara a bowl of soup. "Your throat must be dry from all that talking."
