---- Chapter 179: Be My Girlfriend Tristan watched the two of them enjoying their food and grinned. "Looks like we could consider opening a Thai food place in Greystone." Clara nodded enthusiastically. "Absolutely! I'm all in for that!" Olivia took the chance to glance at Aaron and ask, "Boss, how about I accompany Clara back to Greystone tomorrow? I've wrapped up most of my work anyway." Tristan's heart skipped a beat. His expression darkened instantly, and his appetite disappeared. Aaron continued carefully peeling shrimp for Clara.
A few seconds later, he said casually, "I'll think about it." "Okay," Olivia replied with a polite smile. She had been on this business trip for almost a month. It was better to get back into a normal rhythm as soon as possible. After finishing the meal, Clara winked at Tristan. "Mr. Black, will you give Liv a ride home?" Before Tristan could respond, Olivia quickly shook her head. "No, no. I drove here myself." Tristan nodded. "Perfect. Then you can give me a ride back. I didn't bring my car." ---- Olivia was momentarily speechless. The two of them drove off in silence.

To ease the tension, Olivia turned on the music and slowly exited the parking lot. Night had fallen, and the streets were mostly empty. She picked up speed. The greenery along the roadside blurred past as the navigation said twenty minutes to the destination. Ata red light, a convertible supercar pulled up in the lane next to them. The music was deafening. Even with the windows up, Olivia could hear the wild beats and carefree laughter. Curious, she glanced over and froze. It was someone she knew. "Not gonna say hi to your friend?" she teased.
Tristan snapped out of his thoughts and turned toward the window. It was Logan, accompanied by a gorgeous woman. "Where are you headed?" Logan waved and grinned. "Hey, Tristan! What a coincidence! We just got back from the racetrack. Want to come over for a couple drinks?" "No way," Tristan said, not even considering it. Logan raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Oh, got plans? ---- Well, have a fun night then!" Olivia couldn't help but admire Logan silently. Three encounters, three different women. He was seriously unstoppable. After sixty seconds, the light turned green, and both cars took off.
The company's ten-thousand-dollar Geely was no match for Logan's multi-million supercar. Logan hit the gas and shot forward effortlessly, while Olivia's car was just getting up to speed. It was like a marathon with runners of different skill levels. Starting at the same line didn't mean finishing together. He reached the finish effortlessly while you were gasping, trying to keep up. Why bother? Everyone had their own track. Olivia wasn't used to supercars. She didn't chase thrills. A reliable car worth a few tens of thousands was perfect for her. It got her where she needed to go safely.
She felt a small sting of disappointment but nothing overwhelming-just a little twinge she could handle. She admitted to herself that she felt a strange pull ---- toward Tristan. That morning kiss probably had something to do with it. Her cheeks flushed as she remembered. But it was just a normal reaction. Over time, it would fade. "What kind of person do you like?" Tristan asked quietly. "Want me to get a lawyer's license for you?" Olivia's heart skipped. She froze for a moment before answering. "It's not about the profession." Tristan said, "Ijust happened to be born lucky.
My parents had money, that's it. They're both dead now, and I can't exactly call them back to get out of it." Olivia stayed silent. Tristan pressed on. "So what is it that you don't like about me?" Olivia's knuckles whitened as she gripped the steering wheel tightly. Her eyes stayed on the road. Any glance away would have felt like disrespecting traffic laws. Tristan said, "Worried about my social circle? I don't go out much. I'm busy with work. When would I even have time?" He added, "Or maybe you think I'm too rich? I just
