---- time seeing one in real life." Anyone who loved piano tended to browse through piano specs in their free time, but seeing one in person was still something else entirely. Sebastian grinned. "After lunch, you should try it out." The dining room was large, with a long table that could seat ten. With only three people, the space felt a little too spacious. Clara tilted her head. "Just us three? I thought I'd meet your family today." Sebastian nodded. "Yes, just us. I live here with my driver and the butler couple. My mother lives with my older brother." Clara blinked. In such a big house?
"Doesn't that get... lonely?" Sebastian shrugged. "Not really. I've lived like this for decades, I'm used to it. But since we hit it off, you should come over whenever you like. Bring Leo along too." ---- He clearly remembered the boy and found him adorable. Clara laughed softly. "Sure-but Leo's a little rascal. I'd hate for him to tear your place apart, haha!" Sebastian chuckled. "No worries, the more lively, the better. I like kids. I could even teach him piano." Clara almost choked. Teach Leo piano? That felt like using a cannon to kill a mosquito-he hadn't even mastered the basics yet!

Sebastian glanced at Aaron. "So Mr. Devereaux doesn't usually stay here? I've never seen you around." Aaron replied, "That's right. We rarely stay here these days. It's inconvenient for Clara's commute." Sebastian nodded. "Makes sense. The environment here is nice, but young people prefer convenience. The city's better for that." As they chatted, the butler served dish after dish ---- onto the table. Sebastian gestured. "I wasn't sure about your tastes, so I went with my usual. If you like anything in particular, just let the butler know and I'll have it prepared next time." Clara smiled.
"You're too thoughtful! I'm not picky-I eat everything." She found him so approachable, she couldn't resist teasing. "Honestly, you're nothing like the rumors." Sebastian looked a little embarrassed. "Well, I'm not good with words, and I tend to be blunt. People often take it the wrong way." He raised his glass and clinked it with theirs. "It's a pleasure to know you both." The meal turned out lively and cheerful. Aaron hadn't expected Sebastian to be so talkative-at banquets he'd always seemed aloof, but now he and Clara flowed from one topic to another without pause.
After the meal, they moved back to the living room for tea. Aaron's phone buzzed a few times, ---- but Clara was so engrossed in conversation that she urged him to head back first. "It's just a short walk. I'll come back later." Sebastian added, "I'll walk Clara back myself. I take a stroll every day anyway." So Aaron left, and Clara stayed. At Sebastian's invitation, she played a few pieces on the piano. He listened patiently, offering thoughtful feedback, and soon the two were even playing duets, exchanging ideas and enjoying every note.
They were completely absorbed, both in music and conversation, quickly growing more familiar with each other. Truth be told, aside from Lucian, Clara had never felt this comfortable around an elder before. The sound of piano and laughter drifted through the house, drawing smiles from the butler and his wife. It had been a long time since this villa felt so alive. ---- Later, Sebastian led her upstairs to his rooftop greenhouse. Inside bloomed a dazzling variety of exotic flowers and plants-like stepping into a private botanical garden.
Clara barely recognized any of them and was left wide-eyed in awe. Finally, the two ended the tour in the study, sipping tea and resting.
