---- Clara pointed at the racks. "Enough chatter. Pick a dress!" The shop was called Sweet Love, a name that screamed sweet happiness. It was famous for its variety, top-tier designers, and excellent service. Custom designs were available too. With the shop mostly empty, only the two of them and three staff members, they could try on dresses at their own pace. Scarlett first tried on a white off-shoulder gown. Clara gasped. "This is stunning! Let me take some photos for you." She quickly snapped five or six pictures and sent them to their group chat.
Scarlett studied herself in the mirror but frowned. "It's okay, I guess. Too plain. It needs something more." Clara teased, "Haven't you worn wedding dresses a lot on set? Maybe you're just tired of seeing yourself in them." Scarlett nodded. "Yeah. On set, there's professional makeup, stylists, and photographers. Of course I looked amazing. Now, seeing myself like this in real life is a bit shocking." ---- Clara laughed. "I don't see any difference." Scarlett tapped her lightly. "Are you mocking me too?" Pregnancy made her especially sensitive.

Lately, she could not stand comments about being ugly or fat. After all, she had once been a stunning star. Clara studied her seriously. "Honestly, you're even more beautiful now than when I first met you. Your skin is glowing, healthy, hydrated. You used to be a bit thin and pale, but now you radiate life." Scarlett's face lit up. "Fine! Since you're being sweet, I'll treat you to a big meal later!" She tried on a mermaid-style gown next but still looked unsatisfied. "I'm exhausted!" Scarlett collapsed on the sofa. "Back in the day, I could shop for eight hours straight.
Now, eighteen minutes, and I can't even stand it!" Clara asked, "So what now? You haven't found the right one yet. Coming back tomorrow?" "Why don't you try one?" Scarlett suggested. Clara hesitated, but Scarlett encouraged her. "Don't you want to know what you'd look like in a wedding dress? Go on, try it!" Few women could resist a wedding dress. Clara finally ---- chose one and stepped into the fitting room. When she emerged, Scarlett's eyes nearly popped out. "You are gorgeous! Aaron is so lucky! How do you even keep your figure?
I want to see what you looked like before kids." Clara winked. "Not as good as now." Scarlett laughed. "Now you're making me even more excited to see myself after giving birth!" Clara wore a V-neck gown covered with tiny crystals on the chest. The fit was perfect, showing off her curves, a slender waist, and elegant lines. Layers of tulle spilled across the floor. Staff styled her hair and placed a crystal crown on her head. Under the lights, she looked like a fairy-tale princess-graceful and captivating. When she turned, her beauty took everyone's breath away.
Her back revealed a deep V cut down to her waist, with delicate shoulder blades subtly visible. Scarlett snapped dozens of photos. Even the staff were in awe. "Clara, this dress was made for you!" ---- "Our professional models can't pull this off this well." "So gorgeous! My heart skipped a beat!" "But you're not a man. You can't be her groom." "Who cares? Beauty is beauty and love is love. It doesn't care about gender." "This would make a perfect display in the store." Scarlett said firmly, "Buy this dress! You have to! I'm buying it for you!
Aaron will be head over heels!" Clara teased, "It's your wedding, not mine. Why would I need it?" Scarlett said, "We can take photos together! Hey, swipe my card." Scarlett paid immediately. Clara had no choice but to accept it, planning to return the favor with a big wedding gift later.
