---- Chapter 82: Setting Up a Date It was still early, so Clara grabbed her phone. The Happy Mama Squad group chat was blowing up with 99+ unread messages. She scrolled through and caught Sierra and Scarlett still debating about safe days and fertility windows. Scrolling up, she spotted Scarlett tossing out an invite about some movie premiere tickets. Leo's Clara @Mom-to-be.S quickly typed, "Got any tickets left? I want two!" Mom-to-be.S shot back, "Yep. But first, spill it-have you and Aaron... you know, done it yet?" Clara practically blushed through the screen.
Leo's Clara fired off a snarky reply: "Seriously? Who obsesses over this stuff every day like you?" Elsie's Sierra owned up, "I do!" Mom-to-be.S confessed, "Guilty! Can't help it!" Leo's Clara pushed, "So, tickets or no tickets?" Mom-to-be.S said, "Just show up! Mrs. Devereaux gracing us with her presence? That's rare! I'll be there to roll out the red carpet." ---- Clara panicked, "No way! If the lead actress comes out to greet me, I'll get mobbed by your fangirls. Better have your assistant bring them." Mom-to-be.S agreed, "Got it! Meet at 3 PM at VibeVault Cinemas.
I'll drag Derek along, and we can grab dinner after." Clara set the phone down and headed to her closet to get ready. An hour later, she was off to meet her superstar lawyer hubby for their date. The law office on Sunday was a ghost town. Only poor Matt was slogging away, looking pitifully lonely. When Matt saw Clara, his face lit up like he'd won the lottery-finally, a sign of life! "The big boss is inside!" Clara smiled, "Thanks for working hard, Matt. Putting in overtime on a Sunday." Matt grinned brightly, "No problem! Totally worth it!" Yeah, right. All about the paycheck, my friend.

Poor working stiffs like me. Matt led Clara to Aaron's office, knocked, and swung the door open for her. Aaron's face brightened. "What are you doing here?" Clara said, "You said overtime was killing you. I came to treat you to lunch." ---- Aaron told Matt behind him, "You can head out now." Then, grabbing Clara's hand, he whispered, "If you want me to stop feeling exhausted, lunch won't cut it-massage is the real cure." Clara blushed like crazy. The word "massage" always sounded like code for something else.
"Get back to work." Aaron brushed her cheek lightly, checking if that blush was real-and thinking how stunning she looked. She was clearly in a great mood-her makeup flawless, lashes curled, eyes sparkling with soft smiles. The midday heat was creeping up near 86°F. Clara wore a flowing chiffon dress down to her ankles-graceful, elegant, and downright mesmerizing. Aaron felt a familiar stirring and leaned close to whisper, "Now that you're here, I want to do something else. The office is empty." Could he please just talk normally? Clara tried to slip away, but Aaron tugged her back.
"Just kidding. Wait for me an hour." He sat back down at his desk and dove into work. Clara wandered the office. Nothing much had changed. Nostalgia hit her hard-last time she was here still
