---- Chapter 159: Rushing to Clock In With Aaron gone, the room completely lost all restraint. Truth or dare had grown bolder and bolder, and the dares themselves became even more outrageous. Olivia didn't dare choose either anymore, so all she could do was drink. The night stretched on with more card games and singing, the group noisy and rowdy until around one in the morning. By then, everyone was sufficiently tipsy, and only then did the party wind down. Left in the VIP room were just Logan, Vivienne, and Brooklyn. Logan escorted Vivienne to her car and had the driver take her home.

Afterward, he intended to see Brooklyn off as well. The room that had been so lively now only held soft background music, and Brooklyn flopped onto the sofa, looking utterly relaxed. "Brooklyn, come on. Let's get you home," Logan said, lightly tapping her arm. ---- Brooklyn lifted her misty eyes and looped her arms around his neck. "Logan, I don't want to go home tonight." Logan was halfway drunk himself, and when he looked down at the gorgeous woman in his arms, he couldn't tell if she was really drunk or just playing coy. All he knew was that a primal urge stirred within him.

Asly smile spread across his face. He bent down, scooped her up effortlessly, and headed toward his bedroom upstairs. Meanwhile, Tristan and Olivia got into the car. The driver asked, "Tristan, heading home?" Tristan turned toward Olivia. "Which room are you in again?" He knew she stayed at the hotel next to the company but didn't know the exact room number. Asking an assistant this late at night wasn't very convenient. This was Olivia's first time at a Silverton party. These people really knew how to drink, and she had indulged more than she should have.

With all the commotion earlier, Olivia had managed to keep herself upright. Now in the car, the spinning room made her dizzy, and all she wanted was to sleep. Tristan watched her with quiet amusement. ---- They had started with red wine and then switched to fruity liquors, easy to drink but with a deceptively strong kick. Tristan was used to drinking, yet even he felt a dull ache in his temples. Olivia must have been feeling far worse. When the dizziness hit, Tristan didn't hesitate. "Let's go home." The driver nodded and drove off.

Tristan's house was large, but only the master bedroom was ready for sleeping. There were guest rooms, but the beds had to be prepared. Supporting Olivia, they stumbled and bumped their way into the master bedroom, collapsing onto the bed without the energy to move further. They slept soundly through the night. Olivia woke naturally, her head foggy and mouth dry from a lingering hangover. As her consciousness gradually returned, she tried to remember where she was. Her fingers twitched and brushed against something warm and firm.

Her eyes opened slowly, meeting the sight of a man's Adam's apple. ---- Heavens! She realized she was lying on Tristan, her hand resting on his chest. Before Tristan woke, Olivia tried to push herself up, placing her hands on either side of him. Just as she started to move, Tristan's eyes snapped open. Olivia panicked, her hands slipping, and she fell back onto him. As if fate weren't cruel enough, her lips brushed across his jaw and hit his neck. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..." Olivia scrambled to sit up, biting her lip as she tried to apologize.

Before she could finish, Tristan cupped the back of her head and pressed her down again. This time, their lips met fully. The sudden intensity made them both shiver. Breath was stolen instantly, and Olivia's mind went blank. How had it come to this? After a minute, she regained her strength and pushed herself up again. "I was just trying to get up. I didn't mean to kiss you like that..." Tristan's eyes gleamed with desire and surprise, fixating on her plump, red lips.
