Instead, carefully, I reached over and tugged at his blankets, raising them up to his chin. Then, quietly, I walked into the bathroom to shower and change and get ready to start my day. The girls were still asleep when I stepped out into the hallway. Their lessons were a bit later today, so I let them rest. We'd all been on edge without Damien around, so I wasn't sure how much they had been sleeping. A little more rest would be good for them.
