Chapter 394 +25 Bonus Chapter 394 Amelia's POV I couldn't stop blushing, especially after the rush of bliss slowly wore off, and Damien and I were left trying to rearrange our clothes. In the moment, I had been so caught up in the feel of Damien and my hair-trigger desire for him, but now that we had finished, I was realizing just where we were, and who was just on the other side of the door. The entire pack was out there, as well as many others from Jake's pack. With their werewolf senses, how much had they heard? When we walked out there, would everyone know what we just did?
Damien leaned in and kissed me right on the tip of my nose. "Your blush will give you away before anything else," he said. He glanced up. "Then maybe your hair." Reaching up, he combed his fingers through, clearing some of the tangles that we were both responsible for. As he tended to me, I reached up and righted his tie, then fixed his lapels, smoothing them down. In the end we were both a bit less put together than we had been before, but we could pass for good enough. At least, he did. When he finished tending my hair, I turned to look at myself in the long mirror against the far wall.

My hair was acceptable at this point, and my dress was straight now. But along my neck were a long line of love bites. My cheeks burning even hotter than before, I lifted my hand and gently touched the small red marks. It was clear what they were, and without a scarf, I didn't have a hope's prayer of trying to hide it. Maybe I could find a scarf, or borrow one from a servant. At the very least, I could have someone run out and buy me one. Instinctively, I tried to cover the marks with my hand. Damien, coming up behind me, gently plucked my hand away from my neck and kissed my palm.
"You don't have to hide it." "But everyone will know," I said. "Let them know," he replied. "I don't care who knows how much I adore you.' >> He tugged on my hand, turning me away from the mirror and toward him again. When I did, he gently kissed me on the mouth. "I love you, Amelia," he said, and made it all sound so simple. Our love was nothing to be ashamed of. I believed him in that. So I smiled and I nodded, and I trusted in our love. "Alright," I said. He smiled at me, took my hand in his, and led me back to the door. After unlocking it, he guided me out into the main banquet hall.
I wasn't sure how long we had been gone, but people did seem curious about our absence and our new arrival - at least until they saw the marks on my neck. 1/2 Chapter 394 +25 Bonus Then one of many reactions seemed to happen. A few paled and turned away, but most smiled and shook their heads. They whispered things about young love. One even said, "I wish my husband still admired me like that." Another said, "Why can't I find a love like theirs?" Slowly, as more and more people noticed and reacted calmly about it, I grew less and less self-conscious.
Yet, after the worry about the love bites went away, and the haze of bliss slowly wore off, I started to realize that I had gotten thoroughly distracted in trying to get answers from Damien. That had to be coincidence. I didn't feel like Damien would try to purposefully mislead me. Thinking back, what had he told me about Annette? That she had just been a woman in Jake's pack who I happened to look like, and vice versa? I wondered what had happened to her. Why would Ian think that we are one in the same?
Did she disappear on him, vanishing like a woman at the bar who intentionally gave the wrong phone number? BIG SALE: 3500 bonus free fou you Comments Support Share X get it 2/2 Joseph King
