Chapter 155 Amelia's POV I paid for the drink and the newspaper, then stormed back outside to the bench where Jake was still sitting. As I came closer he looked over at me. Immediately, I showed him the newspaper. His jaw clenched and his features grew grim, but he didn't say anything. "We have to go back," I said. That drew his outrage. "Absolutely not," he said at once. "I can't just leave him to die." Jake had a hard enough time trying to convince me to leave when I thought Damien was just going to be in prison for a while.
