---- Chapter 93 Something Just for Them Ardenia shot him a sharp glance, and Tobias finally sealed his lips. "Come over here and put this on." Alinen shirt! Tobias' eyes immediately brightened. "Is it for me?" He studied the garment closely. Tiny snakes were embroidered across the fabric, charming and lively. He loved it instantly, but more than that, he treasured the fact that Ardenia had sewn it herself. "I love it," Tobias said, and without warning, tears spilled from his eyes. "Why are you crying?" Ardenia gently wiped his face with a handkerchief.

He grabbed her hand and refused to let go. "In my entire life, no one has ever made clothes for me. No one has ever given me a gift..." He had clearly learned a thing or two from Calder. ---- Ardenia let out a quiet sigh. That really was how the snake legacy worked-once the hatchlings broke free from their shells, the snake mother and father rarely stayed. The young were left to survive on their own. She thought to herself that if she and Tobias ever had a cub, she would never do that. She would never abandon her cub or excuse it as nature's way.

With that resolve in her heart, she wiped his tears again and patiently showed him how to put on the shorts. Tobias' cheeks burned red. Calder's tricks really were effective. Seizing the opening, he asked softly, "So... Can | wear it for you tonight?" Ardenia waved her hand in refusal. "I'm sleeping alone tonight." Absolutely not. She was done. "Why? Didn't | make you feel good?" Tobias asked, looking genuinely hurt. "Behave yourself. It's daytime-this is embarrassing. Take ---- your things, go out, turn left, and call Niall on your way.

Thanks, Toby." With a mix of playful gestures-finger hearts, a wink, a light kick, and a shove-she sent him straight out the door. Niall entered with his usual elegance. He had heard everything from outside. With two light steps, he climbed onto the bed, his tail curling as he pinned Ardenia beneath him. "When did you make the clothes?" he asked. "A couple of days ago," Ardenia replied. "I found a pile of fabric in the pocket space, so | took some time to make a set for all of you." Niall sighed softly.

"You should get some rest." He was happy about the gift, of course, but he worried about her exhaustion. Lately, she barely ever stopped moving. "| just thought you'd feel more comfortable wearing them." "You care about me?" ---- Niall looked down at Ardenia in his arms. His gaze drifted, then settled on her lips. The memory of what had happened in the space surfaced on its own, and in an instant, his fair face flushed. Ardenia laughed. "So even my gorgeous, seductive fox mate can get shy? Let me guess what you're thinking... well?" She deliberately stopped mid-sentence.

Niall curved his lips into a smile and leaned in, kissing her before he could think better of it. His voice turned hoarse as his forehead rested against hers. "Do you like it?" Like... having sex with him? Niall's pink lips parted slightly, his eyes soft and heavy with emotion, irresistibly alluring-the very image of a fox spirit. Ardenia nodded without hesitation. "| do." Overjoyed, Niall kissed her several more times before finally sitting up and putting on the clothes she had made. The outfit was a mid-length, cross-front top paired with matching pants. The design itself was simple.

What made it ---- striking was Niall. "My little female, do | look good?" He spread his arms and turned halfway around, bold and unreserved, yet somehow pleasing to look at. Ardenia answered without restraint. "You look amazing!" The last to arrive was Calder. He lingered at the doorway, hesitant, afraid she might still be upset about what happened the night before. He knew he had crossed a line. Tobias and Niall had planned things first, but he had acted on impulse. "Why are you standing there? Come in." Her tone sounded perfectly normal. Calder finally relaxed and let out a breath.

Even though she had cooked something special for him, he had still been worried she was angry. "Ardenia... are you mad at me?" ---- "What? Why would you suddenly ask that?" Ardenia had a pretty good idea why. But honestly, she had enjoyed last night-and Calder's singing had been wonderful. She had practically been holding a free pass to misbehave, doing all sorts of outrageous things. Sometimes she was grateful this was the Beastworld. If this were the real world, the gossip alone would have buried her, especially considering how many times she had touched all of her mates since last night.

"Ardenia, | meant it when | said | didn't want to force you to choose. | just... really wanted to be with you. | know | can't compare to them. My beast level is lower. | was afraid you wouldn't like me, so I..." The more Calder spoke, the more anxious he became. As another male, he knew he had played unfairly. When Niall came to call him earlier, the look he received had been sharp enough to pierce through him. "I'm not angry. Honestly, I'm quite happy. You were trying to make me happy, thinking about how to make me smile.

Calder, thank you." ---- Ardenia knew she probably shouldn't say things like that. She should have drawn clearer boundaries. But every time she saw that expression, the harsh words refused to come out. When Calder grew nervous, the tip of his nose turned red, and the corners of his eyes flushed pink. His pale complexion took on a soft rosy tint, making him look easy to bully-even though he was a strong merfolk.
