He stopped whining about the heat, and his tail relaxed, swaying lazily against the ground. Halden stayed quiet, eating without a word. Since when did Ardenia grow close to Niall? Did they go into the pocket space together? The thought pricked unpleasantly. He had always believed that place belonged to just the two of them.
