Chapter 241 Rice Balls and Summer Sweetness "This one's for you. See if you like it." Ardenia held out a bracelet strung with fresh flowers. "I love it. Thank you, Ardenia. I've got a gift for you too." It was a velvet-flower hair ornament Deria had made herself. Ardenia couldn't tell what material it was, only that it was beautiful. Deria was incredibly deft; everything she made was delicate and refined. Ardenia thanked her, then leaned her head forward. Deria carefully pinned it into the neat bun at the back of her head.
"It looks great on you." The two females exchanged gifts, smiling at each other, while the kitchen buzzed with activity. $10 Free Coins Tobias clung to Halden, pestering him to make something delicious, and Ventor hovered nearby, earnestly learning the ropes. Calder and Niall had once again become temporary fathers. The cubs stuck to them like glue. Vesper washed and sorted vegetables, then hurried around handing fruit to Quincy and the others. "I heard you've got a kind of melon here that's insanely good, Ardenia.
I want some too." Last time Vesper opened a box at the Fierce Lion Tribe, many therians drooled themselves silly. Now all the nearby tribes knew the Wolf Tribe was clearing land and farming. What they grew tasted amazing-no worse than grilled meat, and sometimes even better, Stephan listened to Quincy brag about it every day. He'd started clearing land too, even trading with the Winged Tribe for seeds. The Leopard Tribe did the same. Everyone copied the Wolf Tribe down to the smallest detail.
Vesper, meanwhile, was genuinely busy-teaching people how to carve stone pots, showing them how to make his signature stew. One goal above all else-he didn't want to let anyone bother Ardenia. "Father, that one's watermelon." Vesper was already prepared. Calder had chilled them earlier. With a flick of his ability, wind blades formed in Vesper's hand. He cut two large watermelons open cleanly.- It was Quincy and the others' first time tasting the fruit. One bite in, sweetness flooded their mouths-icy- cool and unbelievably refreshing in the summer heat.

1/3 14 ved, Chapter 241 Rice Balls and Summer Sweetness Two were nowhere near enough. +10 Free Coins Ardenia stopped Vesper when he reached for another. "No more for now. We're eating lunch later. Father, if you like it, take a few back with you." Scott wasn't eating it for the first time. His gaze drifted to Deria. She ate neatly, but her eyes sparkled with delight. They'd been eating plenty of melon lately while staying here, yet Scott was already thinking about saving the seeds. Maybe he could try planting some himself. Ardenia noticed his movement.
She pulled out a packet of seeds from her pocket space and handed it to him. "Use these. The seeds you spit out after eating won't grow." "Really?" "I don't know the exact reason, but I tried before. It didn't work." Scott nodded and carefully put the packet away. "Can I plant them now?" He wanted Deria to have watermelon every day. Watermelon he grew himself. "Sure. Once you've planted them, call me over. I'll help speed things up." "Thank you. I'll plant them as soon as we're back." Scott was in a great mood. Deria had been so well-behaved lately-no running off anymore.
He figured he should learn from the other males and treat her better. While they talked, Halden finished cutting the marinated rhinoceros meat into long strips. The soaked leaves and prepared twine were already laid out-everything had been readied the previous afternoon, Once it was all on the table, Ardenia sat down. She picked up a leaf, folded it, spooned in the soaked rice, added a chunk of rhinoceros meat, then deftly folded it into a triangle. A quick wrap with twine, and a plump rice ball was finished. "That's amazing. So this is a rice ball?" Tobias swallowed hard.
He'd been waiting for this bite forever. "Yep. You drop it into boiling water to cook. This one's savory. You like sweet ones, right?" Ardenia smiled and moved on to the next. Tobias nodded so hard he nearly bounced. For the sweet rice balls, she scooped in a big spoonful of honey. Since they didn't have anything else that was sweet, honey worked just fine. There was always a solution. "Thank you, Ardenia." Tobias leaned in and kissed her, completely ignoring everyone else. Like a child whose long-awaited wish had finally come true, he beamed.
More than anything, Ardenia truly spoiled him-and that made him the happiest male alive. "There are people watching," Ardenia murmured. 2/3 13:07 Wed, Jan 21 Chapter 241 Rice Balls and Summer Sweetness Quincy said calmly, "I didn't see a thing." 45 +10 Free Coins Tobias had a silver tongue. Whenever he had nothing to do, he went to Quincy to make his presence known-dropping off a beast core here, bringing strawberries there-always right in front of Stephan. He knew exactly how to get under his skin. Of Ardenia's six mates, Quincy liked Tobias the most.
Moments like this made it painfully obvious. Tobias giggled and squeezed in beside Ardenia. Colin bared his teeth, but Tobias pretended he didn't exist. He even flicked him when no one was looking. So what? What can you do? With Ardenia present, Colin could only take the hit. He wouldn't dare fight back. Naturally, Ardenia wouldn't let him be bullied. The instant Tobias flicked him, she offered her other wrist instead, letting Colin coil around it and settle there. With that, the tension dissolved-no one could start a fight anymore. Deria covered her mouth, laughing quietly.
This family was really something-so lively it made her heart warm. Everyone grew curious about the rice balls in Ardenia's hands and joined in. They weren't as pretty as hers, but at least they were wrapped tight. A * E ob 3/3 Liam Prescott
