Chapter 274 Three Strikes Over the Plains VPN 51 +20 Free Coins Who am I supposed to give it to again? Tobias jerked his head like he could shake the answer loose. I can't remember. Whatever. I'll take it myself. The green beast core popped into the air. He tipped his head back and gulped it down in one shot, then dragged his tongue over his lips. Metallic, bitter, and nasty enough to make his stomach climb. Ardenia. The name hit him a beat late. It's hers. I need to give her. The realization triggered that unsettling reflex again.
Tobias shoved his hand down his throat and clawed around until his eyes watered. He forced himself to gag, then slapped his own cheek. What's wrong with me? Greedy idiot. Good stuff belongs with Ardenia. "Ardenia! Where are you?" He slid off the rhinoceros and hit the ground like a sack of sand, all the strength leaking out of him at once. His serpent body coiled under him as he tried to sit upright like a man. He looked ridiculous. Huge. Too huge. "Crap. I ate it," he uttered. Ardenia stood there, stunned into silence. Did his brain just glitch? She took a step toward him.
Tobias slammed down again before she could reach him. His body convulsed so hard it looked like it was tearing at the seams. A scream ripped out of him-hoarse, brutal, and raw-like something was trying to punch its way out through his forehead. Ardenia recoiled. Niall rushed in, eyes fixed on Tobias, confusion written all over his face. He had never watched a therian break through like this. Blood poured from Tobias' mouth in a thick spit. 1/4 20:07 Thu, Feb 12 VPN 51 Chapter 274 Three Strikes Over the Plains His body tore again. +20 Free Coins He felt like he was swelling past his own skin.
How can one rhinoceros' beast core carry this much power? Pain chewed through him, then flipped into something dizzying that almost felt good. He writhed, then reached down and yanked his wounds wider. Ardenia's chest tightened. She moved again, but Niall shot an arm in front of her. "He's not in there right now. He won't know you!" Power surged through Tobias in a sudden flood. The beast core tied to him inside Ardenia drifted free as if an unseen hook had snapped. Tobias snapped it out of the air and caught it in his mouth. Thunder rolled over the open land a heartbeat later.

The sky felt closer. His body lurched upward, no longer answering him. A huge force hammered at something invisible, like chains wrapped around his bones. Tobias shouted once more, with every tendon burning and each joint feeling as if it was being stretched the wrong way. His sight wavered, and he thought he saw Ardenia through the haziness. I can't die here. This is punishment. The thought came sharp and clear. The Beast God is paying me back for being greedy. A crack split the air. Lightning hit Tobias straight on. Blood sprayed out and spattered Ardenia's face. Her stomach dropped.
She knew this moment too well. Death flashed through her memory like a knife. Ardenia raised her head, her eyes locked on the storm. Three strikes of Heavenly Thunder! Tobias isn't simply breaking through; he's crossing over into transcendence. Wait... that doesn't seem right. Something feels wrong. Ardenia felt it the instant she looked closer. Something in Tobias' body did not belong- something like a seal, a hidden lock. His greedy swallow had jammed too much energy into him at once, overloaded the system, and blown that seal apart.
2/4 20:07 Thu, Feb 12 Chapter 274 Three Strikes Over the Plains The seal breaking had dragged the Heavenly Thunder Tribulation down on him. Who are you, Tobias? Who set you up to die? VPN 51 +20 Free Coins Questions flooded her mind. Niall staggered backward, raising his hand to shield Ardenia, with shock evident in his widened eyes. He had always believed Tobias was merely an ordinary small black serpent. The second strike of Heavenly Thunder came. Tobias barely held shape afterward, hanging on by a thread. Ardenia's brows drew tight. What a vicious curse.
The moment Tobias breaks through, it becomes his death sentence. As the third strike gathered overhead, Ardenia lunged. Niall grabbed for her, catching only a scrap of fabric as she tore free. Tobias felt it, even through the agony. She's here. Ardenia's here. Vines were broken first, followed by an earthen shield, then a water shield layered over it, and finally, a fire shield wrapped around like a final skin. Ardenia quickly stacked each technique without hesitation. She understood Heavenly Thunder, having been struck by lightning once before. A deep, cold fear simmered in her stomach.
Still, fear did not stop her. I'm not watching him die. I can't let my mate die before me. She refused to accept death. Niall locked up for a fraction of a second, then snapped back to himself. His little female cared so much about Tobias that his chest tightened for him as well. He sprang forward and activated his space ability to tear open a wall from his pocket space. A violet light burst out, forming a shield over Ardenia's position. "Ardenia!" Colin's voice suddenly tore across the storm. He saw the surge from far away and sprinted in. The scene hit him like a punch to the chest.
She's always doing this. She always put herself between danger and someone else. 3/4 20:07 Thu, Feb 12 Chapter 274 Three Strikes Over the Plains The massive serpent spread its wings and hovered above Niall. VPN 51 +20 Free Coins Ardenia held her position below. Together, they formed a stacked formation, their bodies and shields creating a living tower that kept the sky from pressing down on Tobias' frail form. Thunder hammered down. Each boom made Ardenia's body tremble. "Ardenia, don't be scared. I've got you," Niall called out. "And I'm here too!" Colin forced his head in.
Ardenia's laugh broke apart into tears as she clenched down, pushing her techniques harder until her hands shook. Colin watched her strain, and his chest ached. "Ardenia, protect yourself. I can take the hit!" The strike crashed. Her shields shattered one layer at a time. Vine, earth, water, fire-each one failed in a violent burst. The lightning finally punched through what remained and slammed into Colin. The serpent coughed blood. Niall seized the opening and threw Colin out of the blast path. The lightning still did not touch Tobias.
It curled upward again, gathering itself like a living whip preparing another snap. Niall stepped forward to meet it head-on. Ardenia reached for her strength again, then her body hit its limit. Green light flashed over her stomach, sealing it in protection. Then, she pushed through anyway, draining herself dry to raise the last three shields for Niall. 4/4 20:08 Thu, Feb 12 Chapter 275 After the Storm, the Br Editorial board Editorial Board: Our editorial team works behind the scenes to refine each chapter, maintain consistency, and deliver the best reading experience.
