Chapter 216 Don't Be Mad Blood splattered across Ardenia's face before she even realized Colin was behind her. $10 Fres Coms "Why were you behind me? Who told you to come here? Who asked you to butt in? You thought I needed your help?" Ardenia clearly panicked. She slapped Colin almost instinctively. He gave her a pained, crooked smile, the life fading from his eyes bit by bit. The scales on his skin drifted off like falling snow. His head lolled to the side, and two soft little horns sprouted on his forehead, just like the night they first met. "Don't be mad.
Ardenia, don't be mad at me, okay?" He saw the panic in her eyes, saw her tears for him. In that moment, even if it cost him his life, it felt worth it. Colin's eyes slowly closed. As his consciousness faded, he let out a long sigh of relief. He had finally repaid his debt. "There's no need to cry. I'll send you to die with them! "A merman and a little horned-serpent, how dare you kill my brother? How arrogant." The demonized eagle finished speaking and flicked Colin aside with its wing-blade. Colin's body shrank as he tumbled away, landing in the flames. Ardenia's eyes turned red.
She hated owing anyone a favor-especially Colin. As soon as the demonized eagle finished speaking, there was a burst of lightning, and its massive wing- blades swept toward Calder like a net. Ardenia's heart clenched. Her vines shot out to meet the attack! Calder couldn't hold her back. He saw her charge at the demonized eagle like an arrow. The scales Colin had shed came alive, swirling around Ardenia and shielding her from much of the demon fire. Tears fell again as a sharp ache stabbed at her heart. To have Ardenia care about me... maybe that's not so bad!

She's protecting that stupid merman, so I'll use every last bit of strength to protect her... Just then, the totem space got activated. Ardenia flashed behind the demonized eagle, and at almost the same time, her vines shot up like a forest, lifting the eagle high and reaching all the way to the ocean. "Calder, help me!" Ardenia shouted, and a massive pillar of ice shot through the air and struck! White light exploded, and blood mist filled the sky. 1/3 14 O wed, Chapter 216 Don't Be Mad Blood sprayed, dying half the sea red.
$10 Free Coins Calder stepped through the roaring fire, his golden hair soaked with blood. He was carrying a dying Colin in his arms. He set Colin down and wrapped one arm around Ardenia's waist, relief making tears spill down his face. The purple beast core glowed eerily at his feet. Suddenly, his legs gave out, and he dropped to his knees in front of her. "It's over." Ardenia crouched beside him, covered in ash and blood. In the burning aftermath, she gently brushed Calder's brow.
"Calder, you were amazing." Calder shook his head, then bit her hand hard-so hard the metallic taste of blood filled the air before he let go. "You scared me to death..." His whole body trembled. His eyes were bloodshot. His tears fell, turning into scarlet pearls. The memory of what just happened was too much. Calder suddenly coughed up blood, grabbed her hand, and growled, "Don't ever do that again, okay? My life isn't worth much. I don't want you risking yourself for me-if you do, I'd rather die!" "Ardenia, I'm your mate.
I'm not just some merman who only knows how to eat sweets..." Calder finished her words, then blacked out. That last attack had pushed him past his limits. Amid the burning chaos, Ardenia rose unsteadily. She wrapped Calder/and Colin up with her vines, but the usual green glow was weak-she was completely drained. Just then, the totem space was activated again. Warm energy enveloped her, snow leopard totem power filling her body. Suddenly, firefly-like green light burst forth, brilliant and strong. With the last of her strength drained, Ardenia collaßsed. When she woke, five days had passed.
Ardenia struggled to open her eyes, feeling sore all over, barely able to lift her hands. As soon as she stirred, Halden quickly pulled her into his arms. "You're finally awake," He let out a breath of relief. Ardenia smiled weakly. "Did I sleep for a long time?" Halden's eyes were bloodshot, his voice trembling. "Five days..." Tears slid down his face. Only he knew how scared he'd been seeing her like that, thinking he'd lost her and their cub for good. Thankfully, the tribe's healer said she'd just collapsed from exhaustion. 2/3 13:01 Wed, Jan 21 M.

Halden said, "They're both fine. Calder was just worn out-he's already recovering. As for Colin..." At that, Ardenia closed her eyes. She knew she'd never shake him off now. Just then, Vesper came in carrying hot food. Seeing Ardenia awake, even the usually proud Vesper couldn't help but burst into tears. 3/3 Liam Prescott
