---- Chapter 63 Julia's Involvement Ardenia frowned deeply. After cleaning her hands, she took out a pouch of silver needles, planning to seal Quincy's pressure points to stop the bleeding. But before she could begin, Julia started acting up again. "What are you doing, Ardenia? Are you trying to harm your father while he's injured? Just because you got some so-called guidance from the Beast God, you think you can do whatever you want? Those needles are terrifyingly long. If you stab them in, won't you just kill him on the spot?
What's your real goal?" Ardenia was speechless and frustrated, but before she could respond, several therians began criticizing her as well. "She's right! Those needles are way too long. You'll just make things worse!" "Ardenia, the chief's been nothing but kind to you. Doing this is really disappointing. Why don't you use your wood-based ability on him? A broken leg isn't something you can mess around with." This came from one of the older therians in the tribe. ---- Seeing everyone standing against Ardenia, Julia felt incredibly satisfied. Take that, you ugly thing!
Who cares if you've lost weight? You're just as ugly as before. How dare you go against me? Julia thought secretly. "Shut up!" Vesper snapped coldly. "Why should we? Are you planning to seize power now? Who cares if you're a Level 8 therian? Do you think you're above us?" Faced with Julia's provocation and nonsense, Halden let out a cold scoff. "That is amazing," he said bluntly. "The chief is Ardenia's father. You can question anyone, including yourself, but the one person you are not allowed to question is her." He had made himself pretty clear.
After speaking, Halden looked at Ardenia as he softened his tone. "We trust you, Ardenia. Whatever happens, we'll stand behind you." Looking at her four mates, Ardenia felt warm inside. ---- "| got this." She steadied herself, then, ignoring the horrified faces around her, calmly inserted the needles. As the silver needles settled into place, the bleeding in Quincy's leg gradually slowed and finally stopped. Once the blood flow ceased, Ardenia set the broken bones back into position with practiced hands, then used the wooden boards to secure them firmly.

Only after finishing that did she activate her wood-based ability again to heal the external wounds. The therians behind her stared dumbly, stunned speechless. Could Ardenia treat broken bones? Did those long needles actually stop the bleeding? Unbelievable! Meanwhile, Halden watched from the side, his eyes filled with joy. Awoman from a higher civilization was certainly different. Calder was equally shocked, his eyes wide in disbelief. Tobias' gaze darkened slightly, realizing Ardenia was different than before. Thankfully, he hadn't broken their bond back then.
Meanwhile, Vesper stood proudly at her side. He couldn't ---- believe such an incredible little female belonged to him. "Alright, he's fine now. When he wakes up, please get someone to call me," said Ardenia while shooting Julia a pointed look. Rather than speaking to Julia, she'd instructed Quincy's people directly. With that, Ardenia walked out of the cave. She glanced at the injured wolves guarding outside and furrowed her brows. "Is anyone else injured? Get them over here." Hearing that, their eyes instantly lit up. Realizing what she meant, they happily ran off to gather the rest.
They weren't high-level therians. Resources had always been reserved for those of higher rank, so none of them expected Ardenia to help. Once everyone had gathered, Ardenia activated her wood- based ability, enveloping everyone in front of her. Gazing at the gentle green glow, she couldn't help but feel amused. In that moment, she truly felt like Florence Nightingale, healing others through her power. ---- This time, Quincy had gone out with more than twenty therians, but only thirteen returned. The rest were captured alive by Stephan.
Nick Wardof, the therian who'd spoken up earlier, burst into tears. Once Ardenia made sure most of them had stabilized, she withdrew her ability. She walked over to Nick, squatted down, and asked, "When you fought the Fierce Lion Tribe, did Stephan say anything?" Hearing this, Nick glanced around. After confirming Julia wasn't there, he finally said, "According to Stephan, the chief's been abusing his wife, and that he wasn't a real male at all. He insulted him very badly.
Actually, the chief could have beaten Stephan, but Stephan set traps along the path, leaving us all seriously injured." As he spoke, Nick trembled with fear all over again. "It was the chief who blocked Stephan's attacks, and he told us to escape. That was how he ended up with a broken leg..." As expected, Julia was the cause of it all. Ardenia's expression darkened at Julia's absurdity. With how Quincy had always spoiled her, accusing him of abuse was. ---- ridiculous. "Do you want us to keep an eye on her?" Halden asked. Ardenia shook her head. "That won't be necessary.
Julia's still part of the Wolf Tribe. Given how things have developed, Stephan will almost certainly take her away. Whether he comes himself or Julia sneaks off, we won't intervene. We'll handle it once they leave the tribe."
