Chapter 121 Whitney woke up at six the next morning. Today was the day set for their wedding photoshoot. Whitney thought they'd just snap a few pictures somewhere in the city, so when Klein's private jet touched down on the villa's helipad, she was totally thrown off. "Where are we going?" Whitney asked, still confused. Klein gave her soft hair a gentle, loving tousle. "Did you forget? We're going to take our wedding photos." It wasn't until the private jet touched down on some island she couldn't even name that Whitney finally snapped out of it. Klein took her hand and led her off the plane.

The professional photography team had already arrived on the island days earlier, all set and ready to go. "Mr. Harris, Mrs. Harris, let's start with your makeup," one of them said. After her makeup was finished, Whitney finally started to feel the reality sink in. 'Are we really starting the shoot already?' she wondered. She hadn't even laid eyes on the wedding dress yet. The makeup artist led her to the fitting room, and when Whitney saw the row of sparkling wedding gowns, she just froze for a moment.

"Are we really shooting in all of these today?" Whitney asked, her voice full of disbelief. The makeup artist chuckled. "That's right, Mrs. Harris. Mr. Harris had all these custom-made for you two months ago. Feel free to pick whichever you like." "We're all so jealous of you, Mrs. Harris. Almost every dress here looks like it was custom-made just for you," another makeup artist said with a smile. 'Two months ago?' Whitney was stunned. 'Wait, did Klein start ordering wedding dresses right after he came back?' she thought to herself. Whitney pressed her lips together, staying silent.

She had no clue about Klein's past relationships. 'Maybe these were for someone he loved before? Or did he get dumped and that's why he agreed to marry me?' Whitney wondered. Whitney's first look was the blue wedding dress. As she slipped into the dreamy, mist-like gown, the mermaid tail sparkled and danced with every move, and the snug waistline showed off her jaw-dropping figure to perfection. "Wow, it's a perfect fit! We honestly thought we'd have to do some quick tailoring since you hadn't tried it on before. But Mr. Harris really knows you inside out.

You look drop-dead gorgeous in this one," the makeup artist gushed. 'Seriously, how does it fit me so perfectly?' Whitney wondered, still amazed by the coincidence. "Mrs. Harris, you might not know, but this dress took the longest to make. The hem is set with ten thousand real diamonds. Every single one was hand-crafted!" the makeup artist explained with a proud smile. Whitney was left speechless. Suddenly, the dress's breathtaking beauty made perfect sense to her.

When Whitney stepped out after getting her makeup and hair done, Klein was there in a sharp white suit, unable to take his eyes off her. Whitney nervously fiddled with the hem of her dress. "Do I look good?" Klein's Adam's apple bobbed, his voice low and a little rough. "You are gorgeous." Right now, she looked just like a mermaid walking in the sunlight. The photographer had them perch on the rocks by the sapphire-blue sea. "Alright, Mr. Harris, Mrs. Harris, gaze into each other's eyes. That's it!

Perfect!" Whitney still felt a bit awkward, putting on a show of affection with so many people watching. Klein, on the other hand, was completely at ease. He leaned in, and when their noses gently touched, the shutter snapped behind them. "Beautiful!" the photographer called out. The photographer kept switching up the angles, snapping shot after shot. He looked super proud of his work. "Mrs. Harris, want a sneak peek at the photos?" Whitney nodded and took the camera from him. The sunlight streamed in from behind, wrapping them in a soft, dreamy glow.

Her dress sparkled with every movement, making her look just like a mermaid washed ashore from the sapphire sea. "Wow, these are stunning," Whitney said, her eyes shining. Klein took her hand and kissed it softly. "You're the real stunner here. Gorgeous, no matter the angle." The photographer was a bit stunned by Klein's reaction. 'Maybe I should just see myself out?' he thought to himself. They spent the whole day taking photos, from sunrise all the way to sunset.

The weather was perfect, and they even got to witness the legendary Blue Tears, an enchanting sight that was almost impossible to catch. Whitney and Klein wandered through the shallow waves, the photographer frantically clicking away, desperate not to miss a single magical moment. Once the shoot was finally over, Klein wrapped his arm around Whitney. "How about we stay overnight on the island? There are ocean-view rooms, and at night you can just sit by the window and watch the waves. It's really something. "Relax, I bought this whole island. No one's gonna bother us," he said with a grin.

Whitney hesitated, a little torn. 'If only I wasn't just a tired nine-to-fiver... After all, the next day was Monday. She shook her head, a bit regretful. "I can't, I have work tomorrow. If you want, you can stay and enjoy it." Klein just stared at her, at a loss for words. 'Whitney sure knows how to kill the mood,' he grumbled to himself. "Fine, let's head back," Klein replied. Whitney, dead tired, climbed onto the private jet. By the time they landed, she was already out cold. Klein scooped her up and carried her off the plane, wondering to himself, 'Is her stamina always this low?

'What's she gonna do when our wedding night rolls around?' he mused, a little amused and a little concerned. **** A week later, Joanne called to tell Whitney that the show had finally gotten some consciousness and invited her back on. Whitney was genuinely thrilled for her. "Joanne, let me tell you a secret. Your show is actually filming at our firm. "Maybe after the shoot, you'll get to hang out in the observation room and meet my mentor," she added. "Hey, Whit, the show's switched to a live broadcast this time. Weren't you aware?" Joanne asked, sounding surprised. Whitney was taken aback.

She had no idea about that. "It's going live next week! I never thought we'd actually get to be on camera together. If your mentor's on screen, you'll probably show up too!" Joanne said, her voice bubbling with excitement. Sure enough, as soon as Whitney hung up, Townsend called for a company-wide meeting to go over the details of the upcoming reality show shoot. "I'm sure you've all heard. "The Heartbeat Offer: Lawyers' is being filmed right here at our firm. And this time, it's a live broadcast.

"So over the next few days, make sure every file in the common areas is properly organized, and nothing on your desks could risk exposing client privacy. "This is live, people! Triple-check everything, seriously, don't let anything slip!" Townsend said, sounding extra serious. "Ivan. Hector, Arthur, and Mike, you four will be the supervising attorneys for this season. Remember to treat newcomers with respect. From what I've heard, quite a few well-connected folks are joining us this time!" Townsend added. "Or we could have a couple of strict mentors on the show.

Ivan, how about you play the tough guy?" Townsend teased. Ivan rolled his eyes. "Seriously, Townsend, do lawyers have to be actors now or what?" "Quit messing around! Just save that sass for the cameras," Townsend shot back. Ivan was speechless. "Hector, you can play the role of the caring, easygoing mentor," Townsend said. Ivan muttered inwardly, 'Nobody fakes a nice guy better than him. Playing Mr. Congeniality is what he does best!' Whitney was starting to doze off as she listened. She'd stayed up late last night, and Townsend's endless rambling was putting her to sleep. "Ms.

Moore!" Townsend called out, snapping her back to reality. Whitney jolted awake, forcing her eyes open. 'Wait, what? Is this about me now?' she thought, a little confused. "Every workplace reality show needs a big sister type, right? That's you. Just help out the rookie lawyers from time to time," Townsend said. Gina was practically green with envy. 'Why does Whitney always get all the spotlight when it comes to being on camera?' she fumed to herself. "Mr. Barton, what about me?" Gina piped up, practically raising her hand to volunteer. Townsend cleared his throat.

"Gina, just take care of the logistics, and if you've got nothing else to do, just hang out in the office." He meant she didn't need to show up in front of the camera. It wasn't that Townsend was playing favorites. He just figured anyone getting screen time ought to be at least a little camera-friendly.
