Chapter 110 Oliver tugged at his tic, clearly annoyed. "Where's Klein? Didn't he say he'd be here in ten minutes to bail me out?" he complained. Dustin gave a cold smirk. 'Klein almost got cheated on and you're expecting him to come save you?' Dustin thought. "I'm talking to you, Dustin. What's with that smirk?" Oliver snapped. Dustin rolled his eyes and said, "Why don't you ask him yourself? Why are you asking me?" "Klein just rushed off," Dustin added. 'Let Oliver deal with the bad luck himself,' Dustin thought. "Alright, you've wasted enough of my night. I'm out.
Have fun reminiscing about your first blind date," Dustin said as he turned to leave. Oliver watched Dustin's back as he left, stood there for a second, and then finally took out his phone for real. The phone rang once. It instantly switched to a busy tone. 'Shit! He hung up on me!' Oliver cursed. ***** There was no way Klein had time to pick up. He tossed his phone into the back seat and leaned over Whitney, pinning her beneath him. His lips, a little dry and cool, slowly brushed over hers.
At first, Whitney tried to resist, but his warm breath made her lips fall open before she even realized it. That tiny reaction made Klein's gaze grow even more intense, and he deepened the kiss without holding back. When Whitney's phone started buzzing in her purse, she instinctively tried to push him away. But in the next moment, Klein's heated hand caught her chin, making her submit to his hungry lips. The phone kept buzzing nonstop, while the atmosphere in the car grew hotter and hotter. When the kiss finally ended, Klein pulled away, clearly unwilling to stop.
His eyes were flushed with desire. "Answer it." he said. 14:35 Wed, Dec 24 Chapter 110 Whitney's lips parted as she tried to catch her breath, her eyes tinged with a rosy flush. She glanced down In was Ivan calling. She cleared her throat and picked up the phone, a little hesitant. "Hey, Boss," Whitney said. "Hey, Whitney, are you home yet?" Ivan asked. Whitney blushed with embarrassment. "Yeah, I'm home," she replied. "I haven't even asked you yet. When did you get married?" Ivan asked. "And who did you marry? Whitney, marriage isn't a joke.
You can't just go and get hitched just because you're mad at that jerk!" Ivan said. "Does your family know? Don't tell me you snuck off and got married without telling them!" he added. Ivan wasn't really mad that she'd kept it a secret. He was just scared she'd picked the wrong guy. That was the kind of thing she'd regret forever. Klein flashed a mischievous grin, nipping at her earlobe as if punishing her for going on that blind date. Whitney held her breath, frozen in place. "Boss, no. I didn't get married in secret. My dad knows about it." she said.
Ivan let out a sigh and said, "Well, is he good to you?" His lips, once teasing her earlobe, began to trail downward. Whitney's breath grew heavy, her face flushed. She struggled to stifle a whimper in her throat. "Yeah, he's really good to me." she said. "Alright, as long as he treats you right. Next time, let's have dinner together and you bring him along so I can meet him," Ivan said. 'How good could a man be if she married him so fast? I'm not buying it.' Ivan thought. 'I'll have to see for myself!' As soon as the call ended, Klein couldn't help but kiss her again.

Whitney, finally coming to her senses, shoved him away hard and said, "Klein, that's enough!" Klein raised his eyebrows, his voice husky, "What's wrong?" "You're the one who messed up, and now you're getting all worked up?" Whitney explained, "Ivan was the one who set this whole thing up. I had no idea what was going on. He told everyone about my breakup, so I just went along with it and didn't say much." Chapter 110 "And that man Felix? Today was literally the first time I ever saw him. I didn't even know he was coming she added. "Anything else?" Klein lazily toyed with her fingers.
"That's all?" Whitney frowned, thinking. Pretty sure that's all Suddenly, Klein squeezed her hand, his voice turning serious. "Where's the ring?" Whitney blinked, totally blank. "What ring?" "Mrs. Harris, you tell me. I wear my wedding ring every day. So where did you stash yours?" Klein asked, half teasing, half serious. Whitney tried to explain herself, her voice growing softer and more uncertain. "We agreed to keep it under wraps for now, so I just didn't wear it..." she said. By the end, she was practically whispering. She sounded guilty even to herself.
Here he was, a big-shot CEO, wearing his ring every day, while she was sneaking around like she was hiding a secret. Honestly, she really didn't have a good excuse for it... Klein gave her finger a gentle bite, and then murmured teasingly in her ear, "I'll forgive you this once. But if you do it again, don't blame me if I punish you for real next time." Samuel had been feeling pretty pleased with himself lately. He had never expected his daughter to make him so proud! Marrying Klein? Talk about luck. She really hit the crazy jackpot! Right when he was basking in his good mood, his phone rang.
It was Klein calling. "Hey, Klein, what's up?" he said with a chuckle. The man everyone thought was untouchable back in the day had suddenly become his son-in-law. Samuel was grinning from ear to ear. But Klein's cold voice came through the phone, instantly dousing his good mood. "Mr. Moore, do you know what your daughter did to my wife?" Klein's voice was cold as ice. Samuel froze. 'My daughter?' Samuel thought, confused. "You mean Tina?" Samuel asked, still unsure, trying to figure out what Klein was getting at. "Mr. Moore, you're a smart man. I don't like anyone messing with my wife.
I'm cutting you some slack this time, but next time, don't expect me to be so nice," Klein said coldly. "Sometimes, you need to know when to back off," Klein added. Samuel couldn't believe Klein was so cold, even to his father-in-law. Klein didn't even show him a shred of respect! But he didn't dare put on airs. "Yes, Mr. Harris, you're right. I'll set her straight when I get home! Don't worry. The whole company will be Whit's one day. She's the apple of my eye!" he said. Klein just smirked and hung up. That night, Samuel showed up at the apartment.
The moment Tina opened the door, Samuel slapped her hard in the face. "Dad, why are you hitting me?" Tina gasped in disbelief. "Why am I hitting you? Maybe you should ask yourself what kind of mess you've made!" Samuel snapped. Samuel stormed in, grabbed the umbrella hanging by the door, and didn't hold back as he swung it at Tina. "Didn't I tell you not to mess with your sister? Why don't you ever listen?" Samuel yelled. "Ah!" Tina screamed. "Mom, come out! Dad's gone crazy!" Tina shouted, her voice shaking. Tina tried to dodge, but she still ended up taking quite a few hits.
Laura rushed out, panic written all over her face. "Samuel, what are you doing? She's grown up now. How can you still hit her like this?" she cried. "If I don't teach her a lesson, how will she ever learn? This damn girl only ever tries to outdo her sister!" Samuel snapped. Tina burst into sobs and said, "Dad, why are you always so unfair to me?" Ever since her grandma died, her father had changed. 'He kicked me and Mom out of the villa, and now he's beating me up just because of that bitch!' she thought bitterly. Tina had never felt so humiliated in her entire life.
"Unfair?" Samuel's chest was heaving with rage. "Why don't you marry up yourself? Let's see if you can land a man like Klein!" Chapter 110 "Tina, this is your final warning. If you ever pull this stunt again, you're no daughter to me!" Samuel tossed the umbrella aside and stormed out, slamming the door behind him. Tina clung to Laura, crying her heart out. "Mom, why is Dad treating me like this?" Tina sobbed, her voice shaking. Laura felt sorry for her daughter, and couldn't help but hate that cold bastard of a husband. "Don't worry, Tina. I've got your back.
Mom's always here for you," Laura whispered, hugging her tight. "Mom, is Dad really going to cut me off?" Tina sobbed. Laura's gaze grew cold. "No way. He wouldn't dare!" she said. She had leverage over him and he wouldn't risk it. "Tina, just steer clear of her for now. Everything else? Let Mom handle it," Laura said, her tone firm and protective. 田 AD Comment Send gift No Ads Dex Morgan Dex Morgan works to elevate each story with clean writing, emotional balance, and thoughtful flow for readers.
