Chapter 464 Chapter 465 Chapter 465 65 vouchers Charles's face darkened as he listened to Troy's blatant ambition. "Troy, as long as I'm here, don't even think about being with her," he snapped. Troy let out a laugh at Charles's words. "Don't even think about it?" But then his expression turned cold. "Charles, so what if you won't sign the divorce papers? She's already mine in her heart. What can you really do about it?" Charles refused to believe him. "No way," he shot back. Troy gave a faint smile.
"The moment you ditched her to go see Naomi, you already lost." Charles felt a stab of embarrassment and couldn't help but feel a bit humiliated as Troy spoke the truth. Without hesitation, he stepped back, drew a black pistol from his waist, and gripped it with ease. After chambering a round, he aimed the gun right at Troy's forehead. The two groups behind them froze in shock at the sight of the gun. But Troy didn't flinch. He stared Charles down, even stepping forward and pressing his forehead directly against the cold muzzle.
With an amused smile, Troy asked, "You really think you have the guts to pull the trigger?" Charles held the gun steady, his eyes cold as he stared at Troy. "Troy, don't push me," he said, his voice low and dangerous. But Troy didn't care at all. He shot back with a mocking smile, "I'm pushing you-so what are you gonna do about it?" Charles's finger slowly settled on the trigger. Just a slight pull, and a bullet would go right through Troy's forehead. Still unfazed, Troy raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Mr. Logan, you'd better think this through.
If some nobody named Zhang or Li gets killed in Riverdale, it doesn't matter. But if the one who dies is a Hamilton, do you really think the outcome will be the same? Are you ready to face that?" Charles went silent, his eyes fixed on Troy's face, unable to say a single word. After a long silence, Troy finally let out a laugh. "Mr. Logan, you don't have what it takes to face the fallout." With that, Troy wrapped an arm around Teresa and brushed past Charles, making for the exit.
But just as they took a couple of steps, a sharp gunshot shattered the night's silence, The snow had stopped, but the cold still cut right through to the bone. After the gunshot, the place broke out in confusion. Charles lowered his head and blew a puff of air at the smoking muzzle. He stepped up to Troy, a cold smirk on his lips. "You think you can just walk off with the woman I've let go? Think it's gonna be that simple?" Troy chuckled at Charles's words.

"Not easy, sure, but it's not impossible, right?" Troy felt the bullet whizz so close it seemed to graze him, before slamming deep into a nearby tree. Charles was a dead shot-he hit whatever he aimed at. Troy could tell Charles's marksmanship was leagues ahead of his own. But even so, Troy didn't flinch. He kept his grip tight around Teresa, not loosening up for a second. When he looked at Charles, not a flicker of emotion showed in his eyes. Charles gave Troy a cold look. "Me and Teresa have a kid. What about you two? What do you have?" Troy's jaw clenched at the mention of Yolanda. "A kid?
You really think you can use a child to keep her chained to you? Keep dreaming." Charles let out a mocking laugh. "Why don't you try and see if I'm really just dreaming?" Troy didn't budge. He pulled Teresa even closer, staring Charles down. "She's in my arms right now. Think you can snatch her away from me?" Charles didn't even try to take her back. He just scoffed, "Let's see how long she actually stays in your arms." Troy answered without missing a beat, "A lifetime." Charles let out a cold laugh. Troy had no interest in arguing.
He glanced down at Teresa in his arms, then looked up and asked, "So, can you step aside now?" Charles stayed silent, still blocking Troy's path, not moving an inch. The tension hung in the air, thick and suffocating. Seeing Charles still blocking his way, Troy was starting to get pissed off. His eyes narrowed, and the icy look in them was close to freezing out the last bit of his self-control. Just as he was about to lose it, Teresa suddenly struggled in his arms. Troy glanced down hurriedly, his voice gentle. "Teresa, you're awake?" Teresa opened her eyes and saw Troy right in front of her.
She was momentarily dazed, but as her memory returned, a fierce pain stabbed through her leg. She forced herself to endure the pain and replied to Troy's concern, "Yeah." Troy smiled, then lowered his head and gently brushed his forehead against her cheek. Chapter 465 55 Vouchers But right then, Charles suddenly called out, "Troy, you're taking advantage of her while she's hurt." Troy paused for a second, but after Charles finished yelling, he just buried his face in Teresa's neck, right in front of him. Charles felt like he was about to explode, but he barely kept his anger in check.
He said quietly, "Teresa." Teresa heard Charles call out to her, but she just ignored him. Seeing Teresa ignore Charles, Troy straightened up, glanced down at her, and asked gently, "Should we head back?" Teresa nodded. "Yeah." Once Teresa agreed, Troy lifted his gaze to Charles and demanded coldly, "So, Mr. Logan, are you going to move now?" Realizing Teresa was the one choosing to leave, Charles growled at her, his voice low and furious, "Teresa, are you sure about this?
Do you even know what you're doing right now?" Teresa kept her face buried in Troy's chest the entire time, never once looking at anyone else. When Charles questioned her, she didn't even turn around. She replied calmly, "I've thought it through. I know exactly what I'm doing." Charles was left speechless by her words. "You..." She didn't want to hear anything else from Charles. Teresa looked up at Troy, meeting his gaze, and softly said, "Troy, I want to go home." Troy didn't hesitate for a second.
"Alright, let's get you home." With that, Troy held Teresa close and shoved past Charles, leaving without a backward glance. Charles stood frozen, watching Troy's figure as Teresa nestled against him, so small, almost like a charm hanging from his side. At that moment, his chest ached with a thousand tiny stabs. He couldn't accept it-the woman who used to treat him so well, whose eyes were only for him, now didn't even see him anymore.
