Chapter 431 Chapter 432 After leaving the restaurant, Troy wandered around with Teresa. It was freezing outside, snow still drifting down, and even though it was still early, the streets were almost empty. After the first snow, everyone was holed up at home. Troy couldn't bear to say goodbye to Teresa yet, so he kept strolling down the street with her for a long time. The icy wind whipped against their faces, sharp as blades. Teresa tightened her scarf and rested her gloved hands on her thighs. She turned her head to glance behind her. She couldn't see Troy, just the hem of his coat.
She called out to remind him, "Troy, if we keep going, we'll end up leaving town." Troy heard Teresa's voice and quickly stopped in his tracks. He asked without thinking, "Oh, really?" Teresa turned around, looking up at him with a sincere gaze. "Yeah, really." Troy scratched the back of his head, a little embarrassed. He asked tentatively, "Should I take you home now?" Teresa nodded. "Yeah, sorry for the trouble." Seeing her agree without hesitation, Troy quickly asked, "Teresa, do you want to wander around a bit more?
Maybe we could find somewhere warmer to hang out?" Teresa got what Troy meant, but she stuck to her guns. "No, if I don't go back soon, my brother will get worried." Troy sighed, giving in. "Alright, I'll take you home." With that, he led her back the way they came. When they found his car, Troy helped Teresa into the passenger seat and buckled her seatbelt for her before getting behind the wheel. Neither of them said a word as Troy drove off. Teresa couldn't help but think about what had happened at the restaurant, about what Charles had said.
He and Naomi were already that close, but they still hadn't gotten divorced. 'What is he even thinking?' Teresa wondered, She just couldn't figure it out. Troy drove at a snail's pace the whole way, nothing like his usual style. Teresa figured there was no need to say anything, so she just went along with it. Chapter 432 Half an hour later, they finally pulled up in front of the Sullivan Mansion. E55 vouchers When the car finally stopped, Troy didn't get out right away. He turned to look at Teresa and said, "I'm not coming in tonight." Teresa blinked in surprise.
"Why?" Troy noticed her reaction and couldn't help but smile. "You want me to come inside?" Teresa caught on to what he meant and ducked her head, mumbling softly, "No." Troy could see right through her, but he just let it slide. After a moment of silence, Troy lowered his voice. "Hanging around your brother all the time probably isn't great. He's probably sick of seeing me already." He was just giving Teresa an explanation. Teresa got what Troy meant after hearing that. Seeing Teresa stay quiet, Troy got a little carried away, thinking she didn't want to leave him.

He raised an eyebrow and teased, "If you ever miss me, just leave your window open for me." Teresa was startled by his words and quickly said, "Troy, the roads are slippery with all this snow. You should get home and rest early." Troy paused for a second, then gave in with a sigh. "Alright." Teresa was worried he wasn't taking her seriously, so she emphasized, "I'm serious." Troy chuckled, "Serious about what?" Teresa repeated softly, "The roads are slippery with all this snow. You should stay home and get some rest. We...
we've got all the time in the world, anyway." With that, she opened the car door and prepared to get out. Troy was stunned by her words, frozen in place. 'Did I just hear that right?' he wondered. 'We've got all the time in the world?' 'Wait, does she mean... we really have a future?' Troy thought, his heart skipping a beat. "Teresa, could you... could you say that again?" Troy asked, his voice a little shaky. But when he turned, all he caught was Teresa's back as she headed off. Realizing what was happening, he quickly got out of the car and hurried after her.
When they got to the front gate of the Sullivan Mansion, Troy just stopped without thinking and said, "Teresa, I'm not coming in." Teresa looked up at him, her voice soft. "Okay, goodnight. Let me know when you get home." Troy was reluctant to let go. He brought her hand to his lips and kissed it softly. Then he bent down and hugged her tight, murmuring, "Alright, I'm heading out." He said it right in her car, his voice was like a whispering snake, endlessly tempting Teresa. "Okay," Teresa murmured, turning her face aside and nodding to Troy. Troy was still reluctant to let go.
He reached out and gently patted the top of her head. Teresa said softly, "I'm heading in. You should go home too." With that, she walked through the front gate of the Sullivan Mansion without hesitation. After Teresa stepped into the Sullivan Mansion, Troy kept watching her until she disappeared into the hall. Only then did he turn and get back in his car. But as soon as he got in, he glanced over-the passenger seat was empty. His heart felt just as empty. But then he remembered what Teresa had said before she got out, and a smile crept onto his face.
Someday, they'd be living together, sharing a bed as husband and wife, with nothing standing between them. 'That day isn't far off at all,' Troy thought, a quiet certainty blooming in his chest. As Teresa stepped into the hall, Theodore was there, sitting quietly. He looked up automatically when he heard her come in. Seeing Teresa walk in alone, Theodore asked, a bit confused, "Back by yourself tonight?" Teresa didn't hide anything.
She told him straight up, "Troy brought me to the gate, but he didn't want to disturb you, so he stayed outside." Hearing that, Theodore just went back to his phone, working as usual. Seeing that he didn't say anything to scold her, Teresa got even more curious. She carefully walked over to the couch and sat down next to her brother. "Brother." Theodore gave her a confused look.
"What's up?" Teresa leaned in, fixing her gaze on Theodore, and asked curiously, "Have you stopped hating Troy?" Theodore put his phone away and sat in silence for a moment before finally replying, "He's from one of those powerful families, but honestly, he's a good guy. I'm not against you two seeing each other. But if he ever does anything to hurt you, you have to tell me.
I'd walk away from everything I have in Riverdale before I let anyone mess with my family." Teresa was taken aback for a moment, then laughed and asked, "So you'd even give up the company for me?" Theodore's answer was rock solid. "Family comes first." Just then, Yvonne came into the hall with Monica. Monica spotted Teresa and dashed over, shouting, "Aunt Teresa!" Teresa caught Monica as she ran up and gently patted her back. "Monica, slow down." Monica giggled, wriggling happily in Teresa's arms.
Theodore watched his little darling being so affectionate with Teresa and couldn't help but feel a little jealous. "How come you don't say hi to your dad first when you get home?"
