Chapter 462 Chapter 463 When Charles saw Ava's name pop up on his screen, he really wasn't in the mood to pick up. So he just let the phone ring and ring until it finally cut off on its own. But barely a few seconds after it hung up, the phone started ringing again. Seeing it was still Ava calling, Charles finally picked up, clearly annoyed. "What is it?" he said. His voice was thick with irritation from the very first word. Ava didn't even pause to think. She was crying as she pleaded, "Charles, can you check if Naomi's at the house? I've been calling her, but she's not answering.
I'm really worried about her." Charles sounded annoyed. "I don't have time. I've got my own things to deal with." On the other end, Ava didn't blame him at all. She just kept pleading, "Charles, Naomi's never like this. No matter what happens, she always answers when I call. But today, she didn't. What if something's happened and I'm not there for her? I'd hate myself forever..." Hearing Ava's plea, Charles's heart softened. He finally gave in. "I'll call Sharon and have her check next door." Ava finally felt a bit more at ease. "Okay, thanks, Charles.
If you hear anything, please let me know." Charles just grunted and hung up, then immediately dialed Sharon. Sharon picked up right away. "Mr. Logan." Charles didn't waste any time. "Can you go next door and see if Ms. Yates is home? If she is, let her know her mom's been trying to reach her and ask her to give her a call." "Okay," Sharon replied. About ten minutes later, Sharon called him back. Charles picked up, and Sharon said, "Mr. Logan, I knocked, but no one answered. The entryway was open, and the lights were on inside." Charles's frown deepened.
Without hesitation, he said, "Call the police and have them search the place." Sharon agreed. As Charles drove, he couldn't stop worrying about both Naomi and Teresa. He was driving out toward the suburbs, but Liam still hadn't found where Teresa was. Charles didn't even think about turning back-he just kept going toward the edge of town. It wasn't long before Sharon's call came in again. This time, she sounded frantic. "Mr. Logan, it's bad-Ms. Yates... she just collapsed in the bathroom!" As soon as Sharon said that, Charles's foot slammed down on the brakes without thinking.
In the darkness, the black Rolls Royce screeched to a halt by the side of the road. Without a word, Charles whipped the car around and headed straight back toward the city. After turning the car around, Charles asked in a low, tense voice, "Where is she now? Which hospital did they take her to?" Sharon answered, "The ambulance from Central Medical Center came for her." Charles slammed his foot down on the gas, pushing the car even faster. The engine roared as Charles said, "Okay, I got it." After hanging up, Charles focused on getting to Central Medical Center as fast as he could.

Naomi felt like she was floating on a cloud, her whole body so light it felt like she might just drift away. But she kept hearing a voice calling out to her. "Naomi, Naomi..." It was someone she knew all too well, calling her name again and again. As the voice got clearer and clearer, Naomi's eyes flew open. As her vision started to clear, Naomi realized she was in a hospital. Right next to her, she spotted someone she knew it was Charles. Naomi slowly turned her head to look at Charles, and saw his brow relax as he noticed she was awake.
She tried to speak, but her mouth was so dry she couldn't get a word out. Then Charles said coldly, "Since you're awake, I'm leaving." Finally, Naomi managed to speak, her voice unsteady. "Are you still blaming me?" she asked anxiously. Charles didn't bother to explain. He just insisted, "I have something urgent to deal with. As for everything else, we'll talk later." With that, Charles walked out of the hospital room without a second thought. Naomi lay in bed, wanting to call out to Charles, but Ava's words kept replaying in her head, so she held herself back from saying anything.
Even if she did call out, he probably wouldn't stick around anyway. When Teresa came to, everything was pitch black. It took her a moment to adjust, and then she noticed specks of light scattered around her-probably sunlight filtering in from outside. She struggled a couple of times before realizing her hands were tightly bound to a pillar. Her mouth was sealed with duct tape, so even though she tried to scream, all that came out was a muffled cry. Voices of several men drifted in from outside the room. "Hey, guys, this chick's hot. Are we really gonna toss her in the water?
What a waste!" "Why not just have some fun with her first?" "Fun? If you mess around, we'll never get the job done. Don't you remember what the boss said? Keep it clean and quick." "Come on, we deserve a little fun too, don't we?" "Man, you're right. I noticed her the second we got here-she's smoking hot. I've been dying to get my hands on her." "Boss, if you say so, let's do it." "Come on, let's go take care of her." With that, the whole crew just stormed right in, not giving a damn.
Teresa tilted her head up, her eyes wide with fear as she looked at the men crowding the doorway-the scarred man standing front and center. She was trembling all over. With duct tape still plastered over her mouth, Teresa's eyes brimmed with tears. She couldn't say a word, not even a sound escaped her lips. The scarred man took the lead, and the whole crew started closing in on Teresa. One of them bent down, ripped the tape off her mouth, and untied her hands. At the same time, the scarred man was the first to rip at Teresa's clothes, exposing her shoulder.
Someone else started pulling off her shoes and pants. With several men surrounding her, Teresa could barely breathe. She was so terrified she couldn't even scream for help. She struggled desperately, but it only seemed to make them more crazed, like they were possessed. "Hey, pretty thing, why don't you make yourself useful one last time? You really gonna let us suffer like this?" "Yeah, come on!
Let us show you something new-you've never had a night like this, have you?" 17:04 Fri, Chapter 463 48 55 vouchers Tears poured down Teresa's face as she hugged herself, her voice shaking as she begged, "Please, let me go. Take whatever you want-money, anything-just please, I'm begging you..." But the men acted like they didn't hear a word, just kept yanking at her clothes, completely ignoring her pleas. They shoved her down to the floor, and one of them grabbed her injured leg, his hand landing right on the wound. The pain was so sharp she bit back a scream, not daring to make a sound.
She twisted and fought against their hands, but there was no way out. Someone yanked at her collar, and with just a tug, her shirt would be ripped off in an instant. Just then, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed outside the door. With a loud bang, the door was kicked off its hinges and crashed to the floor, dust swirling in the light. Troy was at the front, storming in with more than a dozen men right behind him.
