---- Chapter 411 Sebastian drove to the street fair behind Stredview University, but parking was always a hassle. The roads were congested , and they finally found a spot after waiting for a while. Street fairs were always especially lively in the summer. The one they were at was filled with couples. Suddenly, he hooked his fingers through Valeria's, weaving their hands together. Valeria's cheeks instantly warmed up. Surrounded by so many young couples, she suddenly felt a little self- conscious. She was wearing a cream-colored dress that day.

The hem fell slightly above her knees, showing her long, fair legs. The summer air was humid. She hadn't planned to do much more than have dinner at the Grant residence , so she hadn't worn makeup. She was bare-faced with her hair casually tied up ina bun. "Hello, could you follow our public social media account?" Valeria was stopped by two young ladies holding a basket of cute hairbands. They looked so earnest that she couldn't bring herself to refuse. It was an easy favor, so she followed the account. One of them tugged shyly at her sleeve, "Could you get your boyfriend to follow us too?

Please, we need followers for our club." ---- Sebastian, dressed in all one color, seemed especially cold. His hair was usually combed back, revealing his forehead. Ina suit, he gave off an oppressive presence. Valeria thought to herself that, if she had to work under him at the Grant Group, she'd probably be walking on eggshells every day. However , now that his hair was loose with the fringe partly over his forehead, it made him seem more aloof. It was especially so with the fringe half -covering his brows and eyes. Valeria reached out her hand toward him.

He said in a low voice, "It's in my pocket. Take it yourself." She slipped her hand into the pocket of his pants and pulled out his phone. She was about to ask for the password when the screen unlocked at the sight of her face. Startled , Valeria paused for a moment before following the account. "Thank you." The two ladies beamed, offering Valeria a free hairband. She chose one with little cat ears and wore it. As they walked away, they whispered , "That couple was so good-looking! They can't be from Stredview University, right?

If they were, why have I never seen them on social media?" "That guy looked so aloof but so handsome! I even sneaked a picture." "They must have graduated a few years ago. That woman's ---- dress looks a bit like officewear. She's probably already working." "Yes..." Valeria fixed her hair and touched the little cat ears, asking, "' Does it look nice?" Sebastian looked at her, and the corners of his lips curled up slightly, but he didn't answer. She asked again, "Is it not nice?" Still, he remained silent. "Tt's really that bad, huh?" Valeria shook his arm.

She thought the hairband was quite cute and felt that she couldn't look that bad with it on. So, she pulled out her phone and checked her reflection in the camera. Behind her came a muffled laugh. Slowly, Sebastian's laughter grew louder, and his chest shook. "What are you laughing at?" Valeria spun and glared at him. They stopped at a stall, where she ordered her food while waiting in line. "It looks nice," he replied.

Valeria snapped, "If it looks nice, why didn't you say so earlier?" ---- Sebastian explained , "If I said it earlier , you wouldn't have asked me three more times." She huffed. "What kind of twisted logic is that?" He commented, "You look cute when you act spoiled." "T only asked if it looked nice!" she retorted. "When did I act spoiled? In your eyes, that counts as spoiled?" "Yes." Sebastian nodded. Valeria couldn't help but laugh. "What do you even mean by that?" Unknowingly, they'd reached the front of the line.

Valeria picked up their food and ate a few bites before sending Sebastian off to get some coffee. They wandered around until it was past 10:00 pm, when the street fair was at its busiest and would stay buzzing until late into the night. When Valeria got into the car, Sebastian handed her a bag. She peeked inside. "How did you know I wanted this?" It was the snow globe she'd noticed last time at the night market. It was a palm-sized sphere, containing a girl in a blue dress and a boy ina white shirt. She tipped it upside down, watching as snowflakes and silver glitter swirled within.
