---- Chapter 324 Valeria braced her palms against the bed, lifting herself slightly. However, the moment she did, Sebastian pressed her down with his body, his heat searing against her. Her elbows hadn't even bent when she was forced to lie back. Her long hair spilled over the gray -blue pillowcase , framing her flushed face and clear eyes. Sebastian's chest was so hard, and hers, by contrast , seemed irresistibly soft. Sebastian couldn't get enough. His voice carried a hint of amusement as he nipped at her, savoring the sight of her trembling.
His kisses trailed upward until they caught her lips, lingering greedily. The prelude dragged on. He drewit out deliberately, each step accompanied by his husky murmur against her ear. "Is this good enough?" Valeria was nearly undone. She felt like she was slowly being tortured. Her fingers dug into his back, leaving involuntary scratches across his skin. Three years had passed since they last shared such intimacy. Her body needed time, and her endurance was being stretched thin, She was spent and breathless as strands of her hair clung damply to her flushed cheeks.
---- Sebastian hovered above her, and a bead of sweat slid down the bridge of his nose and fell onto her neck. He lowered his head to kiss it away. Meanwhile, the vice president of the hotel heard that Sebastian had rushed in to book an executive suite. When lunchtime arrived, the deputy manager came with the manager and ordered a butler to wheel up the dining cart. The manager knocked softly and asked whether Sebastian. would like lunch to be served in a polite tone.

After a few seconds, a deep, cool voice said from within, " Leave it outside." 'The manager leaned toward the vice president and whispered, "When he arrived , he was carrying a woman. There's never been word of him having a girlfriend, but I did hear that a few heiresses were hoping to marry into the Grant family. Could this be one of them?" The vice president raised a hand in warning. "Don't speculate. You should watch your tongue." Then, he gestured to an assistant. "Erase any surveillance of Mr. Grant's visit today." At noon, Sebastian looked at the exhausted woman lying on the bed.
He lifted her into his arms and called for a staff member to replace the linens. Valeria buried her face in his ---- chest, feeling feverishly warm. Thankfully , the staff was impeccably professional, keeping a neutral expression the whole time and moving quickly and efficiently. If there had even been a flicker of curiosity in the staff's eyes, Valeria would have died of embarrassment. However, Sebastian wasn't about to let her off easily. His palm pressed against the curve of her back. He bent down so close that his temple brushed her cheek.
He pinched her chin gently, tilting her toward the staff's work. He teased, "Aren't you going to look at your masterpiece?" Valeria's gaze fell on the scene. The staff was stripping the bed, removing not only the sheets but also the waterproof cover beneath. Then, they were replaced with fresh gray linens. Valeria's breath caught. "T told you I wanted to use the bathroom, but you wouldn't let me.
You kept holding me back and finding ways to..." She trailed off, her voice dipping to a barely audible level before continuing, "bully me." At last, the staff straightened and smiled politely toward them. "Sir, Miss, the bedding has been replaced. Do you require anything else?" Sebastian waved the staff off. ---- Valeria hid her face against his shoulder, and her lungs were filled with his scent. She only lifted her head again after the door closed. He was watching her intently. His dark eyes took in every expression she made. Flustered, Valeria turned her face away and lowered her gaze.
"Don't look at me like that." She pushed him back and moved to the edge of the bed. Then, she lay down, worn out and drowsy. Sebastian urged her to eat, but she shook her head. Right now, she wanted nothing but to rest, feeling as if all her strength had been drained.
