---- Chapter 142 Valeria's lips felt like melted ice cream when she gently brushed them against Sebastian's eyelashes. They felt so sweet that he felt like flowers were blooming in his heart. Sebastian blinked before he carried her up and placed her onto the sink. As he pressed his body against her, he restrained his strength and remained gentle. Valeria raised her head up to the ceiling, not allowing the tears that had welled up in her eyes to fall. That night, she decided to stop rejecting Sebastian's advances.

She decided to let him have what he wanted since most men would stop treasuring something once they got it. Sebastian had countless dignified socialites around him. Valeria would treat their rendezvous today as nothing but a fleeting feeling that would soon be forgotten by the wind. In truth, Valeria knew he had stopped that night at her place when he saw the scar on her abdomen. She knew that in Sebastian's eyes, she had borne a child for Shane, and most men weren't able to get over that fact, especially a proud man like Sebastian.

"Dr. Grant, the family of patient No. 10 has brought some supper for us. I kept a share for you, and I've placed it by the door. Shortly after, the nurse left.

Just as Valeria thought the whole thing had come to an end and was about to get down, Sebastian suddenly grabbed her foot and held it to the side of the sink. His lips were burning hot as he mumbled , "Let's continue . Valeria shook her head. She thought she had gone crazy, but apparently Sebastian had gone even crazier. Since Valeria's skin was fair and delicate, Sebastian had made sure to be gentle. However, her cheeks and nose were still flushed from all the crying, and her lips were swollen from his kisses. Sebastian picked up a rubber band and combed Valeria's hair with his fingers before tying her hair up. Then, he grabbed a few tissues. When Valeria's feet touched the floor, her legs immediately gave up on her, and she nearly fell back down to the ground. ---- However, she knew she wouldn't actually fall since Sebastian was standing there with his arms around her waist.
