---- Chapter 261 Sebastian had been searching for Nemo the entire night. Dawn was breaking , and at that moment, his phone buzzed. He was already on edge, and the ringtone made his mood darker. However, he noticed the caller ID. It was Selena. He froze for a moment, slowed the car, and answered the phone. Selena's voice came through. She said, "Mr. Grant, I'm having ravioli with Nemo." By the time Sebastian arrived at the ravioli shop, he saw Selena and Nemo together. Nemo lay on the floor with a takeout box in front of it, the raviolis gone and only some sauce remaining.

She wore the same yellow daisy -print dress from yesterday , her hair tied in two ponytails. Tipping the rest of her raviolis into the box, she pushed it toward Nemo. "You can have it. I don't want any more." Nemo slurped two mouthfuls. Then, he suddenly whipped its head toward the door. It barked once and bolted, leaping straight into Sebastian's arms. Sebastian caught him by the scruff, his expression dark as he ---- asked, " Do you have any idea I've been out looking for you all night?" He never would have guessed Nemo had actually managed to find this place.

He had only brought it here a couple of times before. Then, Selena asked, "Mr. Grant, have you had breakfast yet?" "No." Sebastian's voice softened as he answered . He took a seat across from Selena. She responded, "When I came here for breakfast , I saw Nemo fighting with the fruit vendor's dog, Lucky. Then, all of a sudden, Nemo ran toward me. I was scared at first, but it just licked my hand. It was like it knew me. That was when I remembered Nemo is your dog." Nemo, full and satisfied, lay sprawled at Selena's feet. Its golden fur was gleaming. Beatrice came over to take their order.

Before Sebastian could speak, Selena piped up, saying, "One large beef ravioli. No parsley for Mr. Grant, please. Anything else is fine." Sebastian's eyes softened with a smile. "Wow, Lenny. You still remember what I like to eat."" Selena responded, "Of course. I've got a good memory." Sebastian felt like a complete bastard. For seven years, he hadn't been there for his daughter. Yet this little girl, in the short time they had spent together, could remember something as small as his food preferences. ---- He could never forgive himself.

Then, Sebastian asked, "Lenny, where's your mom?" He hadn't seen Valeria when he came in. "Oh, Mommy is with Great -Grandma at the rehabilitation center. Granny Lucy was up all night playing board games and is still asleep, so I came out to get breakfast." "You shouldn't be out here alone. It's not safe," Sebastian said. Selena let out a faint sigh and looked at him, half exasperated. "Mr. Grant, I'm turning seven in four months. I'm not that young anymore." After they finished eating, Sebastian put Nemo in the car and called his family to inform them that he had found the dog.

He was about to take Selena back. However , the moment they stepped into the neighborhood , regret tugged at him. He had no idea when he would be back this time-or when he'd get to see Selena again. He then asked Selena, "Lenny, do you wanna go to the amusement park?"
