---- Chapter 382 'The household staff quickly grew at a loss for words. They were ina panic and had no idea what to do. Gabriella's expression grew more and more ominous by the second, too. But the moment Avery helped Martha walk up the stairs, Gabriella's demeanor changed. "Aunt Valeria," Gabriella said with a smile. She walked up to Valeria and linked her arm with Valeria's while the latter was about to head upstairs. Valeria wanted to push Gabriella away, but Avery and Martha were still ahead of them.

Martha turned to Valeria and said, "So you two knew each other from high school, hm? That was more than a decade ago. Sebastian was indeed quite handsome back then. He had so many admirers that he'd come home with a bag full of love letters every day." ---- Martha seemed to suddenly recall something as she spoke. She tugged on Avery's arm and said she wanted to retire to her room as she was feeling weak. Valeria looked at Gabriella's arm which was hooked around hers in a loving manner.

Valeria wasn't sure if Gabriella was mentioning high school because Gabriella already knew that Valeria was actually Jane. We're all family here, aren't we?" Gabriella tucked her hands behind her back, two strands of Valeria's hair pinched between her fingers. Once Valeria left, Gabriella went upstairs to Wendy and Alexander's room. She swiftly obtained some strands of Alexander's hair from the bathroom.

Before Gabriella left, she overheard Alexander and Wendy getting into an argument in the study. They were arguing about the photo from earlier.
