---- Chapter 391 There were no windows in the room Valeria and Alexander were in either. Sabrina didn't actually understand why Gabriella was doing all this. Ruining Valeria's life was one thing, but Alexander was Gabriella's own father. Wouldn't both Alexander and Wendy be dragged into this mess that Gabriella had caused? Sabrina came over to Lounge 13. "This is Mr. Sebastian's phone. He's already inside the room," the server waiting by the door murmured, showing her a black phone in his hand.
Sabrina nodded and texted the team of paparazzi she had on standby, instructing them to come over in an hour's time to expose this "scandal". She then shut her phone off and handed it to the server for safekeeping . She'd already bribed this particular server earlier. Once Sabrina was in the lounge room, the server would lock the door from the outside. Everything was ready to go. There was no way anyone could call for help from inside this lounge room. There were no windows inside, nor did they have their phones on them to contact anyone else.
---- Sabrina would play the role of the "drugged" victim whose virtue was ruined because of this incident. If she could escalate this incident , the Grant family wouldn't be able to publicly announce Sebastian and Valeria's wedding anymore. Plus, Valeria and Alexander would be embroiled ina scandal of their own. Hence Sebastian would have no choice but to divorce Valeria and marry Sabrina. Sabrina smirked as she entered the lounge room. The server swiftly locked the door from the outside. It was quiet here. Sabrina slowly walked closer to the man splayed on the couch.

Her heart pounded excitedly in her chest. But when Sabrina went closer and saw who the man was, she stopped in shock. "Lucas? What are you doing here?" Lucas was still passed out on the couch. He was wearing a white button-up with a black tie, colors that were very fitting given he was the groom-to-be today. Sabrina ran over to the door, terrified. She twisted the doorknob as hard as she could, but the door did not budge in the slightest. Sabrina pounded frantically on the door. "Hey! Open the door! Open the door!" Her plan had gone wrong. It wasn't supposed to be like this.
---- Valeria opened her eyes to find herself in what seemed to be a bedroom. She felt immensely uncomfortable. It felt like raging flames were burning her from the inside out. Valeria reached out a hand to push forward, and suddenly came into contact with someone's body. Valeria was taken aback. Even in her hazy awareness, she knew that this person in front of her wasn't Sebastian. Valeria also knew that her body wasn't reacting normally either. She bit hard on her lip and sank her nails into her palms, using the pain to snap herself out of her drugged stupor. "M-Mr.
Alexander?" Valeria's eyes widened. Why was she lying in bed with Alexander? "Mr. Alexander!" Cold sweat broke out on Valeria's skin, likely out of extreme fright. The burning sensation within her had lessened greatly as her reason took over. She frantically shook Alexander's arm. Alexander slowly turned around then, eyes opening up. He was just as stunned by the sight before him. Though Alexander was a respectable man, he'd still had his fair share of experiences in the business world. Hence he instantly knew what was going on.
---- He patted Valeria's arm and said, "Don't worry." Valeria sat on one end of the couch, while Alexander sat on the other. They shared a look. Alexander's brows knitted together when he saw how unnaturally flushed Valeria's cheeks were. He had never expected someone would use such dastardly tactics against him and Valeria during his own daughter's engagement party. Valeria was Alexander's sister-in-law, for god's sake. She was Wendy's daughter too. What an absolutely disgraceful and filthy tactic! Alexander had to find out who it was and teach them a lesson they'd never forget.
This was the first time Alexander had gotten so angry in his 55 years of life. It was plainly outrageous. "T'm alright." Valeria continued sinking her nails into her palms. She was thinking back on what had led her here. "It must've been that server from earlier who gave me that juice. T'd only taken sip of it..." Luckily, Valeria hadn't drunk too much of the juice. She would've lost all consciousness if she had and would have no chance of explaining herself.
