---- Chapter 274 Calvin glanced at Sebastian's expression and noticed that when Sebastian saw the file, there was a hint of amusement in his eyes, and he seemed much more relaxed. He wondered if finding out that Zion had an illegitimate daughter and a mistress was really something for Sebastian to be happy about. Calvin continued, "There's also an email from someone named Wesley Baxter, a photographer and social media influencer with 1.2 million followers on TikTok. He tried to pursue Ms, Neal last year without success.
"He even publicly confessed to her on TikTok, posting a set of her street photography that got over 100 million views. When. he later realized that he had failed to win her over, he deleted the photos. I've sent the photos to your email as well." He could not read Sebastian's mood at all. The newly appointed CEO was a ruthless man who immediately cleared out the entrenched old timers of the Grant Group. They were all executives that even the precious CEO had kept around. It was clear to Calvin that Sebastian's feelings toward Valeria were unusual.

He even felt like reminding Sebastian to stop staring at photos of her so much, and to show some restraint. Sebastian opened up one of the photos. It was a photo of the ---- seaside. There was a woman barefoot next to the waves, dressed ina sleeveless light blue dress. Her exposed skin was fair, and a beige sunhat with a sunflower decoration shaded part of her face. Her long hair was slightly curled as it spilled over her shoulders, with a few strands draping over her chest.
The shade from the hat covered up half of the woman's face, while the sea breeze lifted the hem of her dress, revealing a pair of long, smooth legs. The woman, however, was not looking at the camera. It was clearly a candid shot taken by Wesley. 'The woman in the photo looked natural, relaxed, and free. Sebastian stared at the photo for a long while before tapping on the screen to erase Wesley's watermark and then setting it as his screensaver. His thin lips curved upward slightly. It turned out that Valeria really had plenty of admirers. The car jolted slightly as it drove past a bump.
Sebastian coughed a few times, frowning as he pressed one hand against his chest. His coughing did not stop-it only worsened. His lips and his face turned pale as his breathing grew unsteady, causing him to grit his teeth slowly. ---- Calvin quickly asked, "Mr. Grant, are you alright?" The driver went pale as well and began to drive much more cautiously. "Mr. Grant, I've already slowed down for the bump. " Sebastian waved his hand. It was his own problem and had nothing to do with the bump. Over ten minutes later, his breathing finally steadied.
Calvin handed him a glass of water, and Sebastian took a sip to hold down his coughs. Sebastian's chest felt numb from all the coughing , the pain slowly tearing at the scar of his surgery. Calvin glanced at next week's weather forecast and reminded, "Mr. Grant, there'll be a lot of rain in Broburgh City next week. Should we just cancel the bidding conference?" He had heard that apart from having undergone open-heart surgery, Sebastian also had two shotgun pellets lodged below his left knee, of which he opted to leave them in place for a slower recovery.
On rainy days, the pain was worsened by the damp air, causing a noticeable difference in his gait. Sebastian's voice was rough and hoarse from all the coughing. "There's no need." Calvin nodded and glanced at Sebastian out of the corner of ---- his eye. Sebastian had just taken over Grant Group two months ago, after the previous CEO fell ill with acute kidney failure. Calvin heard that Sebastian had once studied medicine, but he was suddenly gravely injured and hospitalized. Sebastian had barely left the ICU when he took over the Grant Group.
