Chapter 393: After ensuring the rope's strength, she gestured for Hana to descend first. "Mrs. Brooks, please, you should go down first. The flames are spreading," Hana urged, her voice filled with concern. Nyla shook her head firmly. "No, I have calculated it. The fire won't reach us that quickly." The seconds dragged on. Once Hana was safely down, Nyla began her descent, clutching the homemade rope. Midway, she noticed a figure standing below. She narrowed her eyes to identify the person and saw them holding a lighter. Could that be... Stella? Why would she be here?
How did she even know this location? Nyla hurried down, her steps quickening. As she got closer to the ground, she watched in horror as the trees around her suddenly burst into flames. The villa and its surroundings were rapidly being consumed by fire. Nyla, with Hana by her side, scrambled to find an escape route. Flames surrounded them. "Hana, is there another exit?" Nyla asked, her voice hoarse from the smoke. Hana shook her head despondently. "There's no other way." A crease formed on Nyla's forehead in frustration. She caught sight of Stella; she was the one who had started the fire.

Stella was clutching a lighter in one hand and a container of powder in the other. "This stuff is miraculous. Just a sprinkle, and it knocks everyone out," she said, giving Nyla a strange grin.
Nyla sensed a change in Stella, as if she had transformed into someone entirely different. "Ever wonder how I discovered this place? Or how I subdued everyone so effortlessly?" Stella asked, her smile widening. As the flames intensified, Nyla gestured to Hana, and they both stepped aside. "How could you, Nyla, marry into the Brooks family, marry Ethan, and lead such a lavish life?" Stella vented, almost delirious with envy. "If I can't live well, you shouldn't either. You haven't noticed, have you? I've been trying to get close, but those irritating bodyguards always block my path.
Without them, you'd be easy to deal with." . . .
