Chapter 326: "Stay quiet if you want to make it out of here," he warned in a low voice. Bonnie studied the approaching group, quickly grasping the danger. She nodded, her movements cautious. "Mr. Wheeler, isn't it a bit underhanded to bring someone else along? What's the meaning of this?" The scarred man toyed with a butterfly knife, his swagger exaggerated as he approached, flanked by several others. Murray hadn't brought his bodyguards to confront them, but he wasn't particularly intimidated either. They were just a handful of thugs-hardly a match for him.
He glanced back at Bonnie, noting the fire in her eyes as she glared at the group. "Peter, it's just a woman. Hardly worth making a fuss over. Ethan sat rigid in his chair, his eyes fixed on the surveillance feed. The screen displayed Nyla, tied to a sea stack, her face pale and her body swaying with the waves. Jackson stood beside him, concern etched on his face.
He had been monitoring the situation for hours and could see Nyla's strength waning. They had found her location yesterday, and Ethan had been watching her ever since. He even had men stationed nearby, ready to act. . . .
