Chapter 325: The words struck her harder than she expected. Ethan's refusal to save her wasn't just a possibility-it was now her reality. So, this was how it ended. The men tied her to the sea stack, seawater lapping against her body. It wasn't painful, but the cold, salty spray heightened her discomfort. But the physical unease paled in comparison to the ache in her chest. Knowing Ethan had truly abandoned her cut deeper than she ever thought possible. Shivering, she couldn't tell if it was the chill of the ocean or something more profound. And then, there was nothing. No rescue. No hope.

"Ethan didn't go, and the deal failed." Bonnie paused at the threshold, her hand resting on the handle.
Skepticism clouded her expression, but she relented and climbed into Murray's car. She had no other choice but to take the risk. By the seaside, Bonnie scanned the area. It was eerily empty, the stillness amplifying her doubt. "Murray," she said, her voice edged with suspicion, "you'd better not be leading me in circles." Murray's eyes roamed the shoreline, assessing the situation. He spotted a boat in the distance and pointed. "There. Let's head for the boat." Still uncertain, Bonnie followed him. Suddenly, a group of figures emerged from the nearby cabin.
Murray moved protectively in front of her, his posture tense. . . .
