Chapter 1297: Lilyana's grip tightened around Allison's hand, her voice trembling with guilt. Tears slipped down her cheeks. "Don't speak. We'll take care of you right now!"

The world around Allison darkened.

"Give Kellan the antivenom first. His condition is worse than mine…"

But before she could finish, her strength failed her. The world spun violently before fading into nothing.

"Allison!"

Gordon lunged forward and scooped her up.

"Get over here and help!"

His gaze swept over her paling face, his stomach twisting when he noticed the faint blue tint to her lips-an unmistakable sign of snake venom.

Fabian's voice was sharp as he ordered, "Get them both out of here now! Administer the antivenom immediately!"

Gordon carefully laid Allison onto a stretcher as the medical team rushed in. Within moments, both she and Kellan were being lifted onto a helicopter.

He had never imagined that they loved each other so much-enough to face death side by side. A strange mix of emotions churned inside him, but more than anything, he was furious. His hands clenched into fists. He wanted to rip Verruckt apart.

"Mr. Morgan, you should head back first." Gordon exhaled sharply, forcing down his rage. "I'm going to search around this place. Even if Verruckt is dead, I have to find his body."

Three days later, when Allison woke up, the faint scent of disinfectant lingered in the air. She forced herself to sit up, and the people around her quickly gathered.

"You're finally awake, Allison." Lilyana pulled her into a hug.

After all these years, they were together again.

"I'm okay."

Allison's voice came out raw and strained. Her throat felt dry and scratchy.

Fabian immediately handed her a glass of water.

"Here, drink this."

A cool glass was pressed into her hands. She took slow, careful sips, letting the soothing liquid ease the dryness. Then, she lifted her gaze, her eyes settling on the two figures before her.

It had been so long since she'd felt this-true warmth, genuine care. After being seriously injured, she had received the care and concern of elders-a kind of comfort that she hadn't experienced in years. She had spent too many of those years fending for herself, battling through everything alone.

"Yes, drink some water first." Lilyana watched her with a heart full of sorrow. "Now, our family is finally whole again."

Allison's eyes burned, and an ache tightened her chest. She blinked hard, but the tears still welled up, her nose tingling with emotion.

Silently, she drained the rest of the water.
