Once the fingerprint scan was finished, Allan's phone rang unexpectedly.

"Who's calling?" he asked, answering the phone. His expression soured after the call ended. "Alright."

He turned to Fabian and said, "Mr. Morgan, the client we were supposed to meet today ran into some trouble on the way. He won't make it on time." Fabian frowned, clearly bothered. "What happened?"

"He got into a car accident. Apparently, a woman named Miss Johnson took him to the hospital."

Allan hadn't expected this either.

"He's being treated there now. The doctors say his injuries aren't too bad, and he wants to reschedule the meeting," he added.

Allison quickly put the pieces together. The client Fabian was supposed to introduce to them had been in an accident today.

This would obviously delay things.
