Chapter 1265: Drucker's face turned pale. His grip tightened on his phone as disbelief washed over him.

"Mayor Lewis, this is all a misunderstanding! You can't fire me! I've worked hard for you all these years-"

Milady cut him off, warning, "Enough. This is the price you have to pay. From now on, you are not to set foot in Vrining again."

Drucker's knees nearly gave out. He understood all too well - he was a pawn being discarded. Speaking to Fabian, Milady said, "Mr. Morgan, I trust this won't affect Dibya Group's relationship with the government?"

Fabian's expression remained unreadable. "As long as the authorities enforce the law fairly, there won't be an issue."

Their exchange was laced with unspoken meaning, a quiet battle of words.

"I promise," Milady replied.

He ended the call and pressed the internal line. "Come in."

The secretary entered promptly. "Mayor Lewis."

"Look into the new perfume specialists at Aröme Tower. Also, give Drucker a payout to keep him quiet." Milady's expression darkened as he ordered, "If he talks, take care of it."

"Understood." The secretary hesitated. "Should we still move forward with the acquisition of Aröme Tower?"

"Put it on hold," Milady said, glancing at his phone. "At least until we finish investigating that new perfume specialist."

"Understood." The secretary nodded and then placed an envelope on the desk. "One more thing - our people delivered this. The person you were looking for has been found." Milady's expression shifted.

He opened the envelope and pulled out several photos. The images showed a woman in a white lab coat entering Aröme Tower. Her features were slightly blurred, but even so, her beauty was unmistakable. If Allison were here, she would recognize the woman immediately - her mother, Lilyana, the person she had been searching for all this time.

"Change of plans." Milady tapped the photo with his finger.

A cold look flickered in his eyes. "She's my biggest obstacle. Deal with her first."

The secretary hesitated. "But she's inside Aröme Tower. If we act too soon, we risk alerting Fabian."

"Alert Fabian?" Milady let out a low chuckle. "Then deal with him, too." He picked up a pen, scrawled down a number on a slip of paper, and slid it across the desk. "Call this number. Send him these photos." Milady narrowed his eyes, a cold glint of murder flickering within them. "Tell him I want Fabian and this woman dead. Tonight." He had waited too long to let Lilyana slip away now.

"Understood," the secretary replied.

At Aröme Tower, after Drucker fled in disarray with his men, all the police cordons were removed.
