Chapter 1106: "It's purely a coincidence if there are any similarities," he said, trying to hold his ground.
He fought to stay composed, but deep down, Abram knew that he had walked right into a trap.
This was exactly what Allison had been counting on. It all made sense now - no wonder she had seemed so calm when he had rushed to present his design earlier.
She had been waiting for him to slip up from the very beginning. The others weren't entirely buying his explanation. "But I should say this isn't just similar. It's practically identical."
"I can't even tell who was the plagiarist between them."
"During the competition, there were separate sections, so they shouldn't have been able to see each other's designs," someone pointed out.
As the argument started to heat up, Allison was about to step in, but a few voices from the crowd spoke up first.
"I can vouch for Ms. Clarke. She didn't plagiarize."

"I can back that up too. I filmed the whole process of Ms. Clarke making the high heels. She made two pairs at once and never glanced over at the other side."

"Besides, Ms. Clarke didn't even need a design draft!"
The message was clear - Allison had created the shoes on her own, showing that she understood the design better than anyone.
But there were still people who supported Abram.
"Stop with the jokes! Abram didn't sneak a look at Allison's work!" Fabian quickly picked up on the hidden message.
He furrowed his brow and turned to Abram.
"Did this design also come from that senior designer?"
"No… it didn't," Abram quickly denied, looking ashamed.
Just moments before, he had been confidently explaining his design concept to everyone. Admitting it was someone else's idea now would make him look completely foolish.
"She copied my work a long time ago and set me up!" Abram's eyes were wide with panic as he pointed at Allison. "This shoe design is from years ago. She stole it secretly and made it before me."
Allison let out a small laugh.
She understood that when people were trapped, they often tried to hide the truth desperately.
Most of the time, they would instinctively cast themselves as the victim, switching the roles around.
"Mr. Morgan, only part of what Abram is saying is true. I'm the one who was plagiarized," Allison said.
As she and Abram faced off again, everyone gasped.
