Chapter 1239: Despite his simmering frustration, Colton gave a curt nod. "Let's go. We need to get inside."
What he hadn't anticipated was that, unlike black card holders, those with standard memberships were subjected to an extensive security check before being allowed in. This wasted valuable time.
Meanwhile, Allison and Kellan had already made their way inside. A team of professionals greeted them with respectful nods, each one holding a sleek tablet, waiting for instructions.
"Ms. Clarke, please select a golf club of your choice." Allison cast a brief glance at the clubs before casually pointing to a black one. "We're here primarily for business. Let's minimize the game time."
"Understood."
As the golf instructor stepped away, a private butler approached with a warm smile. "Ms. Clarke, your rest area has been prepared. Would you like a private course, or shall I arrange another?"
Allison briefly explained the situation with the distributors. "We plan to meet with them. Make sure we're placed on the same course."
"Of course. Consider it done."
Meanwhile, Melany and Colton remained outside, ignored and sidelined. They could do nothing but watch as Allison and Kellan were ushered away by the attentive staff.
Melany clenched her fists, struggling to maintain her composure. "Colton, do you realize how rare that black card is?" Her nails dug into her palm. "Even if she's wealthy, there's no way she's been living in Vrining all year round, right?"

Colton was still reeling from everything he had witnessed. Melany's words grated on his nerves.
???????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????? ????????????????????: ⳑ????????????????ν????????????????⸱????????????
"Just say what you mean."
Melany bit her lip. "I don't mean anything by it. I'm just saying… a wealthy person living in Vrining all year round sounds a lot like Mr. Morgan."
"What exactly are you suggesting?" Colton's brow furrowed. "Are you saying there's some connection between Allison and Mr. Morgan?"
"I just have a small suspicion. Colton, don't you?" Melany's voice dripped with calculated insinuation.
But to her surprise, her attempt to plant doubt failed.
"Enough! I know she's not that kind of woman."
Colton's voice was sharp, but as he looked at Allison, something shifted inside him. Thoughts he never wanted to entertain crept into his mind.
Colton took a deep breath, his jaw tightening. "Melany, don't ever let me hear you say something like that again. Malicious speculation without evidence is no different from spreading rumors." His voice was low but laced with unmistakable anger.
Melany stiffened, feeling even more aggrieved. "I know. I didn't mean it. I just casually said it."
She hadn't expected Allison to have such a hold over so many men, to be someone they actually cared about.
Meanwhile, Allison had already stepped onto the lush green of the golf course, walking beside Kellan.
