But the last thing he expected was to see Allison standing there.

"'Don't you love those soft, delicate types?'" Allison's voice was laced with mockery.

She then dumped the remaining drug powder into his mouth. "'Well, tonight, you get to enjoy it.'"

She then tossed the vagrant next to Hoyt.

After taking care of everything, she turned and left the lounge, locking the door with a final click.

Now, the real game was about to begin.

After the lounge door clicked shut, Allison quietly followed Melany. Back in the grand ballroom, Melany wasted no time stirring the crowd with her fabricated tale.

"'I think I just heard some strange noises coming from Fabian's lounge,'" she murmured, leaning strategically toward the person closest to her. "'As far as I know, the lounge should be empty. Could it be… a ghost?'"

Melany feigned nervousness, as though genuinely unsettled.

The accomplices Hoyt had sent blended seamlessly into the crowd and played along with Melany's charade.

"'A ghost? That seems unlikely,'" one chimed in. "'But if you get closer, Miss Johnson, you'll notice - those noises coming from inside are… strange.'"
