Chapter 234 Avery's POV My small victory lasted all of 8 hours. Then Gideon once more began to dog my steps. I supposed he'd had time to rest and shower, and then immediately came to find me. "What are you doing?" I asked as he knelt beside me in the dirt of the garden and began yanking up the weeds I was pulling. His eyes slid over in my direction, "This is important to you, yes?" "Yes?"
