Mr. CEO, Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time
Given their current relationship, it would be inappropriate for him to make such a suggestion.
After sending Harry and his team downstairs, Maggie quickly went back upstairs.
Harry watched her retreating figure for a long time before pulling his gaze away and speaking to Leo, the core technician in his company, “I need a favor.”
Leo replied, “What is it?”
“I have a friend who wants to delve deeper into natural language processing. Right now, he needs a top–level teacher…”
Leo, understanding the request, didn’t hesitate. However, he paused and added,
“Although I’m quite skilled in this area, to be honest, I don’t think I’m as capable as General Gray from Cole or Miss Miller, who has been talking to us about cooperation. Since Mr. Becker wants to help his friend, I believe getting help from Miss Miller or General Gray might be more effective.”
Harry was taken aback by this response.
He had studied finance in college and didn’t understand AI. But Leo was an expert in the field of natural language processing and was well–known in America, even if he wasn’t the absolute top.
Harry hadn’t expected Leo to praise Maggie so much. He remembered how Johnny had been tirelessly praising her in front of others.
While Harry knew that Maggie had ability, he had assumed Johnny’s praise was based on personal interest or exaggeration. But now it seemed…
“Mr. Becker?” Leo called out, snapping Harry out of his thoughts.
Harry quickly replied, “General Gray and Miss Miller have personal grievances with my friend, so it wouldn’t be suitable.”
“I see…” Leo nodded, understanding, but didn’t press the matter.
In the Evening.

Later that evening, when Harry and Leo arrived at the private dining room, Julia had already arrived.
Upon seeing Leo, Julia was very polite. After exchanging pleasantries, she immediately began asking him professional questions.
Harry only listened quietly, barely participating in the conversation. He seemed distracted.
After a while, Julia looked at Harry and smiled, “Feeling bored?”
Harry snapped back to attention, “It’s fine,” he replied. “You two carry on, I don’t mind.”
Julia smiled and didn’t hesitate to continue asking Leo for advice.
Julia was genuinely eager to improve herself, so she was very focused on learning. Her humility and enthusiasm made Leo more than willing to teach her.
After understanding her current level in this field, Leo helped her plan a learning path and introduced her to the latest developments in the field.
At dinner, the conversation was lively. However, it was clear that they were only scratching the surface
tonight.
Julia was seeking in–depth learning, and Leo agreed to spare half a day tomorrow to meet her and continue the discussion.
Gratefully, Julia thanked him.
After the meal, they saw Leo off. Julia turned to Harry, who had been quiet throughout the evening, and said, “Harry, thanks for today.”
Harry replied calmly, “I grew up with Frank. This small favor is nothing.”
He then added, without waiting for her response, “It’s getting late. You should rest.”
Julia agreed, “Alright, see you tomorrow.”
Harry, hearing that, said, “I have something tomorrow, so I won’t be coming over.”
Julia paused for a moment before responding, her tone thoughtful, “It’s alright. Since you have something to do, then it’s better to focus on your own matters.”
Harry nodded in acknowledgment.
After Julia left the car and drove off, Harry also got into his car. However, he didn’t drive away immediately. Instead, he pulled out his phone and, after a brief hesitation, dialed Maggie’s number.
Maggie was still at the office.
Seeing his call, she picked up casually, “Mr. Becker?”
Harry was about to speak, but as he heard some sounds from her side, he paused and asked instead,
“You’re still at the office this late?”
“Yes.” Maggie replied. Since Harry was calling at this hour, she guessed it was something personal. She added, “I have free time tomorrow. Is there something you wanted to do?”
