Chapter 324: "Mr. Harman, the meeting is about to start. Please make your way to the conference room," she said politely. Greyson abruptly turned around, his face twisted into a sinister expression. Against the backdrop of the dark clouds outside, the assistant felt as if she were staring into a black hole, ready to swallow everything in its path. She was visibly shaken. Trembling, she asked, "Mr. Harman, are you feeling alright? You don't look well." Suddenly, Greyson switched on the lights, illuminating the entire office. His face softened, becoming calm and gentle once more.

He waved his hand dismissively. "I am fine. Please inform them that today's meeting has been canceled. You may leave now," he said to the assistant secretary before she left his office. Greyson then sat down in the swirling chair in front of his desk, absently twirling a pen in his hand as he lost himself in thought. Suddenly, a loud splash sounded. Torrential rain began to fall, whipping the ground with such force that it created a white mist. In no time, the entire city was shrouded in a thick haze.

Greyson stood up abruptly, grabbed the keys to his Maybach, and quickly left the office, slamming the door behind him. He didn't trust anyone else to take care of Candice, so he decided to go to East Hospital himself. He started the car and stepped on the accelerator, speeding away through the heavy rain and thick fog, determined to get to the hospital as quickly as possible. When Candice arrived at East Hospital, thunder rumbled in the distance. Just as she entered, heavy rain poured down, forming a magnificent curtain along the eaves.

The deafening sound of the rain made people rush inside to avoid the sudden downpour. Thankfully, Candice managed to stay dry and made her way to the front desk of the obstetrics and gynecology department. She showed the staff member her reservation information on her phone and greeted her politely.
