Chapter 152: After a while, the speed made Candice feel lightheaded. She unbuckled her seatbelt, eager to get some fresh air. Unexpectedly, Milton turned toward her and held her close. What was going through his mind? His expression shifted to one of disgust as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a handful of damp tissues. He grabbed her chin with one hand and wiped her lips with the other. Candice couldn't shake him off. He must have seen the moment Greyson appeared to kiss her and assumed they had actually locked lips.

She felt it was unnecessary to explain, and she was unwilling to do so. "Really, what are you doing? Let me go!" Although her tone was harsh, her words came out confused as he continued wiping her lips. Milton's aggressive wiping caused Candice's lips to become red and swollen. If he kept going, the skin on her lips might even crack. Damn it! Milton's anger only intensified as he thought about the kiss between Candice and Greyson. "Enough! Stop it!" Her soft, luscious lips were like a drug to him, their scent and taste intoxicating.

Every time he touched them, he lost all self-control. He wanted to deepen the kiss, to savor it until he nearly lost his mind. Because Greyson had kissed her, Candice assumed Milton would hate her.
