Before Collin could dwell on it further, his assistant appeared and said, "Mr. Riley, Miss Walton is here and requests to see you."

Collin frowned, confusion crossing his face. "Who is she?"

The assistant hesitated, sensing Collin's question was a bit awkward. Finally, he explained, "She's Haven Walton, the woman your grandmother once arranged for you to marry. She left you five years ago on your wedding day. She recently returned to the country, and when she found out you're the founder of CR Corporation, she was eager to meet you and apologize for leaving so suddenly." Collin listened, his face blank and indifferent. His mind was still occupied with thoughts of Linsey, so he barely registered what his assistant was saying.
