"Always pushing for more, aren't you?" Caught out so directly, Linsey's cheeks flushed with embarrassment. Still, this chance was too precious to let slip, and she was determined to press forward. But before she could speak again, Collin's phone buzzed at the worst possible moment. "What is it?" He answered, his face reverting to its usual stoic mask, all traces of warmth vanishing. Whatever was said on the other end caused Collin's expression to darken instantly. "I'll be there immediately. Keep watch over Kylee." Collin ended the call and left without a moment's hesitation.
