Before meeting the Lawsons, Linsey had believed they were unpleasant people, which she thought might explain Carol's difficult personality. A doctor stepped out and looked around the room. "Is the patient's family here?" "Yes, right here!" Myla quickly stood up, with Linsey and Cruz by her side. "Doctor, what's the status of my son?"

With a serious expression, the doctor shared his findings. "From our initial assessments, it appears your son has suffered internal organ damage. The injury to his lower back seems to have been caused by some external force."

Myla, shocked, struggled to grasp the news. "Internal… organ damage?"
