"Mr. Lawson, if this matter went to court, do you think Carol would be cleared of wrongdoing?" Dustin asked, his tone serious.

Jeffery hesitated before replying, "These were all misunderstandings. We are prepared to offer Linsey a personal apology."

Dustin chuckled. "That's pointless now. Linsey couldn't even come to work today because of the injuries Carol inflicted. Our scheduled design projects are delayed. We haven't sought compensation from your family yet, so I suggest you leave Linsey alone." Dustin's sharp remarks left Jeffery visibly embarrassed, his face flushing with shame.

"Mr. Lawson, forgive my bluntness-but Lawson Group was painstakingly built by your father from nothing, becoming one of the town's great successes. Unfortunately, your recent actions and those of your sister have seriously damaged its reputation." Dustin sighed. "You're the head of Lawson Group, yet you stood by while Carol publicly humiliated a designer from a company you're closely partnered with. Once that news spreads, how many reputable firms will trust you again? You risk isolating Lawson Group entirely from Grester's business community."

Jeffery's face hardened. At the birthday event, he had dismissed Linsey as a minor designer, influenced by his bias and blind belief in Carol's accusations. He had never considered the fallout of humiliating a guest in his own sister's celebration.
