Chapter 570: "Yeah," Dustin replied with a cheerful smile as he sat down and poured himself a glass of water. "Forgive my lack of manners-I desperately need a moment to recover."
Millie leaned toward Dustin, intrigue shining in her eyes, and gestured toward Collin. "That man-is he Linsey's husband? There's something familiar about him."
Taking a leisurely sip from his glass, Dustin replied casually, "That's Collin Riley. You've probably crossed paths with him before."
Millie froze for a moment, sizing Collin up as disbelief flickered across her face. "Wait, he's Collin Riley? I thought he was disabled." Maintaining a neutral expression, Dustin explained calmly, "He recovered a while back. Miss Burke, it seems like you're behind on the latest news."
Millie frowned. "Ridiculous! I keep up with every rumor in town. If Collin's condition had improved earlier, I would have heard about it."
She and Dustin then engaged in light conversation, their voices drifting in the quiet hallway.
Linsey and Collin remained in their embrace for a moment before gently easing apart.
Linsey looked up at him in astonishment. "Collin, how did you manage to get here so quickly? I thought it took two hours from there."

Collin brushed a strand of hair from her forehead and murmured, "I asked the driver to take the fastest route."
"Please don't take such risks," Linsey whispered, concern softening her tone. "I was in capable hands. You didn't need to rush."
Collin's gaze held hers. "Nothing is more important than your safety."
A gentle smile curved Linsey's lips as she felt the warmth of his concern. She knew his urgency had come from worry.

Collin's eyes softened as he looked at her bandaged hand. "The Lawson family has crossed a line."
Linsey reached for his hand and squeezed it gently. "Don't worry. It's all settled now. Everything will be fine."
She studied his worried expression and quickly changed the subject. "Oh, did you hear we abruptly cancelled our deal with Lawson Group? I nearly dropped my phone when I read the news. I still can't believe the founder willingly gave up two billion dollars plus another five million in penalties. If I had his contact information, I'd do everything to make him see reason. Don't you agree?"
A slight smirk played on Collin's lips. "Personally, I think it was the right call. After the Lawson family's disgraceful behavior at the banquet, isn't it obvious they brought it upon themselves?"
