Chapter 672: Linsey let out a soft chuckle, but there was sorrow in her eyes that he couldn't see.

Her voice was gentle, yet piercing. "Collin, don't you understand? Our marriage was a mistake from the start-born from my impulsiveness and your deception. There was never fairness or honesty between us."

Collin stood frozen, lost for words. All he could do was hold Linsey tightly, as if letting go would mean losing her forever.

Linsey's eyelashes fluttered as she lowered her gaze. Her voice was soft, barely a whisper. "Collin, if you're set on keeping me by your side, I know I won't be able to fight it. With your power, I don't stand a chance. But the more you hold on, the further I'll drift away. I can't look at you the way I used to.
