"Kylee, this isn't my fault! Who could've known Jude would be so careless? This is all on him!"

In a rush of panic, Cynthia added, "Jude's supposed to be here. Why is there still no sign of him? Has he just run off?" Kylee's eyes narrowed, her teeth clenched. "If that idiot has actually run away, it's over. I'll find him and make sure he pays for this."

Just then, a voice rang out from outside the room. "Miss Russell, Mr. Jude Todd is here to see you."

Kylee's eyes lit up. Without a second thought, she instructed, "Let him in. Now."

Meanwhile, Jude stood at the entrance of the villa, fidgeting nervously.
