Chapter 476 Into the Game In Monterra, an emergency meeting was underway at the palace: Bang! "Damn that Lab 709!" the supreme commander snapped, slamming his fist down so hard that the water glasses on the table shook. He was furious, and the others didn't dare breathe, heads bowed, sweat trickling down their faces in silence. Mike was among them. "Send out the agents. Now," the supreme commander commanded a long while, voice icy and full of menace. He'd rather have "accidents" happen to every last one of them than let the world's top scientists make it back to Clusia alive.
Suddenly, a lazy voice intruded. "Take my advice, you'd better not do that," she said. Everyone was stunned, instinctively turning to see who had spoken. With a sharp click, the big screen behind them suddenly lit up. Stella reclined in a black leather car seat, her head propped up lazily with one hand, and greeted the people on the other side with a laid-back, almost cheeky. "We meet again." On the other side, everyone was stunned into silence.
They stared in disbelief as the girl who'd just been interviewed on Clusia's official news channel now appeared on their screen, and their top-notch security was nothing to her. The supreme commander gritted his teeth, "Shark." He'd never uttered anyone's name with such barely contained fury before. "Let's cut to the chase," Stella said, tilting her head to show off her elegant swan-like neck. "If even one researcher from Lab 709 gets hurt, I'll bring down everything I've got on Monterra itself. "What I'll do to Monterra will be beyond your worst nightmares.
"Consider it my 'return gift." She gave a light chuckle. The supreme commander was left utterly speechless. His eyes narrowed in shock. After a long pause, he finally managed to speak. "Are you declaring war on Monterra?" "That's a bit dramatic," Stella replied lazily, clearly not bothered by his threat. At some point, she'd picked up a sealed test tube between her slender fingers, spinning it around with a casual flick, almost as if she was bored. The way she played with it made everyone on the other side freeze in shock. Mike suddenly jumped up. "What is that in your hand?" 'Wait...
Is that the Capley Lab logo from back then?' Mike thought. "You mean this? Isn't this the gene virus antidote you guys have been dying to get your hands on?" Stella arched an eyebrow, making the liquid inside the tube swirl wildly as she moved it. The room fell into a deathly silence. The supreme commander's voice was icy as he ordered, "Shark, hand over the antidote." His eyes narrowed with a cold, menacing glint. He spat out each word, practically shaking with rage. Stella let out a mocking chuckle, her hand pausing mid-motion.
She ignored his demand entirely and said, Mark, formerly of..." She shot him a defiant look. That look made the supreme commander break out in a cold sweat, panic flashing across his face. 1/4 Chapter 476 Into the Game Because he was Mark himself. And when Stella started to recite his home address in that icy tone, the supreme commander's scalp tingled, and a fear he couldn't suppress gripped his heart. And it wasn't just him. Stella started rattling off everyone's background and home address, one after another, as if she were reading names off a hit list. Nobody was spared.

"Enough!" Mike shouted, his voice cracking with frustration. He'd lost all that swagger from their first meeting. His right-hand man Bill, was still laid up, unable to move a muscle after that spinal injury. Mike had learned firsthand, way before anyone else here, just how savage Stella could get. Stella kept smiling, but there was no warmth in her eyes. "Listen up. If even one person from Lab 709 gets hurt, your whole bloodline is finished," she said. It was simple and direct. Her aura was like a divine mountain pressing down, leaving everyone gasping for air, crushed and powerless.
"Shark, you're taking on all of Monterra!" the supreme commander thundered, his voice trembling with rage. He was burning with fury. Stella waved them off with a slow, lazy gesture. "If you want the antidote, come find me on Hell Island." Stella hit the button. Before anyone could react, she'd already cut the connection. She cranked the hate up to the max. ***** The supreme commander snatched up his mug and hurled it at the wall with a vicious swing. Shards flew everywhere. "Mike!" the supreme commander barked. He turned, bloodshot eyes fixed on Mike as he stood up and saluted.
"Kill her!" he ordered. Mike snapped to attention, "Yes, sir!" *****. In Jaffina, the night breeze drifted gently through the air. Stella turned to Sebastian. "Sebastian, from now on, no one will be after your blood anymore." Because now, she was the one they saw as the "living antidote." "You really think I should be happy about that, Stella? If you-" Sebastian's hand clenched so tight the veins stood out. But before he could finish, Stella leaned in, grabbed his collar, and cut him off with a kiss, swallowing every word right there on his lips.
Sebastian started to say something, but stopped short, "You-" His back hit the car door, heat rushing through him. "Shh," Stella smiled, amber eyes sparkling. "Weren't you the one who complained I only kissed Lucas last night? Well, here's your turn." Sebastian was speechless. The next second, he was running the show now, flipping the script. With a sudden, burning intensity, he pinned her between the seat and his chest.
Chapter 476 Into the Game Stella leaned in close, her breath warm against his ear as she whispered, "My patron, I want you to live every single day free from sickness and worry. You are able to do whatever you want, and never let anyone hold you back again." "This is the final rule in the Patron Care Guide." Her fingers trailed softly along the back of Sebastian's neck, her voice floating like a feather. So she put herself on the line. His eyes flickered with emotion as Sebastian held Stella close in his arms.
He thought, 'Before I met her, I never thought there'd come a day when I could just close my eyes and sleep without a care. Never worry if my food was safe, and never have to fight through the pain alone when the poison hit. 'And finally, to have someone watching over me, protecting me with real care. "Sebastian, let me let you in on a secret," Stella murmured. Sebastian looked up at her, his eyes soft and serene. Stella took his hand and gently pressed it to her chest, right over her heart. Her heart was racing, as if spring itself was holding her close in a dizzying embrace.
But then, Sebastian suddenly stilled. "Shh!" Stella pressed a finger to her lips, her smile playful as she hushed him. 'It's a secret!' Stella thought. ***** The next day, training was back in full swing. Everyone was weighed down with 22-pound sandbags strapped to both their arms and legs, no exceptions. Stella stood before the whole squad, stone-faced as she met all their curious stares. Joey looked like he was about to explode from holding back his words, but just as he opened his mouth, Fabian, the big guy, came running over and skidded to a stop right in front of Stella. "Ms.
Carter!" Stella shot Fabian a cold look. Fabian swallowed nervously. "Someone is here to see you at the gate." "Who?" Stella asked. Fabian's eyes darted nervously. "They said..." Stella's expression stayed cold. "Go on." "Mrs. Clinton," Fabian finally blurted out. The wind blew over the mountaintop. Joey perked up, curiosity all over his face as he glanced at Stella. But she just shrugged, totally unfazed, and said, "Never heard of her." Fabian was stunned. "Back to training. Anyone slacking off, everyone gets extra weight," Stella said, her voice flat, not a hint of emotion.
She gave a quick, dismissive wave of her hand, sending Fabian away. ***** At the gate, Aveline had finally tracked down Stella's location after pulling some strings. She'd been up at the crack of dawn making some food, then had her driver take her straight to the training base. Aveline hugged the lunch box. Hope was written all over her face. She waited by the entrance. The second she spotted the messenger coming back, her eyes sparkled with excitement. She was practically buzzing with anticipation.
