Chapter 291 He Really Is A Philanthropist! Chapter 291 He Really Is A Philanthropist! In Jaffina, Dexter had just wrapped up a nationwide tour with his band and stepped off the plane. His white tee, black leather jacket, and jeans made him look drop-dead cool. As the lead singer of The Mars, the most famous band in the country, Dexter was a total heartthrob for countless girls, thanks to his killer looks and signature shoulder-length, effortlessly tousled hair. The fans waiting at the airport went wild, screaming and shouting. The noise was really getting on Dexter's nerves.
He slipped on his sunglasses, pulled out his phone, and was about to text his sister. 'Those fans who pretend to be his sister keep showing up. Every single time, they get Sophie all worked up, Dexter thought, frowning. Losing their sister was a pain that never really went away for the whole family. But since Dexter was the youngest, he hardly had any memories of the sister they lost. He and Sophie grew up together, so they were close. Even though Sophie was the daughter of his dad's late best friend and was adopted into their family, to Dexter, she was his one and only sister.
"Calling your sister again?" the bassist joked, grinning. Ever since they found out about the whole "sister- obsessed" thing, the band never missed a chance to slap that label on Dexter. Dexter arched an eyebrow, saying nothing. That tiny move was all it took. The airport exploded. The fans screamed so loudly it felt like the roof was about to blow off. Dexter grew impatient. Just as Dexter was lost in his own thoughts, his phone pinged with an email alert. He glanced down, eyebrows furrowing as he read the message. Dexter suddenly stopped in his tracks and froze in place.
The fans saw this and lost their minds, shoving against the security guards, all trying to get closer to their idol. "Dexter, what are you doing?!" Jack, his agent, who'd been leading the way, hurried back and grabbed Dexter's arm. Dexter snapped out of it, shot Jack a look, and said, "Jack, get me a ticket to Haliville, right now!" Jack stared at him, stunned. "Haliville? Seriously? Why Haliville?" Jack thought, 'He always goes straight home to see Sophie whenever he's back in Jaffina.
So, why's he heading to Haliville the second he gets off the plane?' Dexter replied, "Yeah, Haliville!" Meanwhile, the elevator doors slid open at Haliville Technical High School. Stella stepped out, her face frosty. Perhaps she was being paranoid, but back in the elevator, she couldn't shake the feeling that someone had been watching her. "Stella, the door's locked from the outside," Caiden said, giving the rooftop door a shove, but it wouldn't budge. He glanced back at Stella, who seemed deep in thought. Stella snapped back to reality, her face still cold.

"Move." Caiden and the others didn't hesitate. They stepped aside. Stella, hands in her pockets, raised her foot and kicked. The door, weighing dozens of kilos, crashed straight outward. Just one kick. That was all it took. Caiden and the others were totally speechless. 'So when Stella kicked Dutton earlier, she was actually going easy on him?' they wondered. Stella calmly pulled her foot back and strode through the doorway, leading the way. 1/3 Chapter 291 He Really Is A Philanthropist! Everyone on the rooftop was stunned.
They gawked at the empty doorway, then slowly turned to look at Stella and her sidekicks. Their forks hit the ground with a clatter. 'Wait, are those forks?' Stella thought. She arched an eyebrow, taking in the scene in front of her. Chadwick, who she'd thought was about to get beaten up, was sitting right in the middle of the group. And next to him, the burly Leonardo, the Technical High School's big shot. Was he holding a workbook and a pen? Caiden and the others were also surprised. Leonardo blinked, looking totally confused. The two of them locked eyes. Everyone exchanged awkward glances.
"S-St-Stella?!" Chadwick's eyes went wide as he jumped to his feet. Caiden was stunned. Chadwick looked perfectly fine. Not a scratch, not a bruise, all limbs accounted for. Suddenly, one of Leonardo's goons shouted, "It's her! That's the girl who jumped off the third floor!" As he spoke, he started flailing around, making sound effects and acting out the whole scene with way too much enthusiasm. Leonardo's eyes went wide. "Whoa!" He looked at Stella, realization hitting him. "You're the one who threatened to kill us if we snitched!" He smacked his fist into his palm.
Stella felt a little embarrassed. He didn't need to remember this. Leonardo stood up, brushed the dust off his pants, and clasped his hands in front of his stomach, looking all stiff and respectful. "So, what brings you here today?" After two seconds of awkward silence, Stella lifted her hand. Everyone instantly shifted their gaze to Chadwick. Chadwick was stunned. He blinked, pointing at himself, stammering, "M-m-me? S-Stella, you're here for me?" He sounded so shocked, like he couldn't believe it was real. Stella turned to Caiden, her face totally blank.
Caiden replied, "They said Leonardo hauled you off." Chadwick nodded. Caiden hesitated, then said, "We thought you-" He thought Chadwick would be beaten, but he couldn't say it. "Stella heard you got dragged off and came for you right away," he added. But... With all these desks, workbooks, and pens up here, this place looks nothing like a fight scene. If someone said it was a cram school, they'd totally buy it. Caiden felt a bit awkward! Chadwick stared at Stella, totally dazed. Stella reached up and pulled the pen out of her hair, and her long hair fell.
Chadwick was so touched that he couldn't help but let out a whimper. "S-Stella..." Stella twirled the pen between her fingers, giving them a cool look. "So, what exactly is going on here?" Chadwick stammered, "H-he asked me to tutor him..." Then, in a small voice, he added, "He's paying me for it." 2/3 Chapter 291 He Really Is A Philanthropist! Stella glanced up at Leonardo, who was nodding profusely, looking genuinely sincere. "Pretty good. You guys go ahead," Stella said, glancing down. Then she went quiet. After a moment, Stella glanced up curiously.
"You taught them this?" She instinctively looked over at Chadwick. Chadwick nodded. Stella was speechless. Eight questions on a page, and he managed to get five wrong. And Leonardo's still paying Chadwick for this? He really was a philanthropist! Twenty minutes later. When the principal and the Dean of Students from Edenbury Academy got the call, they rushed over in a panic to the neighboring Technical High School. Tripp, the principal of Technical High School, didn't even let them catch their breath before leading them straight into the building. Tripp yelled, "Look what your students did!
How dare they jump over the wall to cause trouble in my school!" After being overshadowed by Edenbury Academy for what felt like forever, Tripp finally got his chance to strut his stuff. He squared his shoulders and yelled at them. Zack clenched his teeth but still forced a sorry smile on his face. It was as if he said, "Come on, we're neighbors! We look out for each other!" Tripp had a squad of teachers trailing behind him. "Security footage shows they went up to the roof. This way," he said. They all crammed into the elevator. The Dean of Students kept sneaking side glances at Zack.
Zack was obviously trying to keep his cool. He was afraid things might get out of hand once they hit the rooftop. Everyone had their own worries swirling in their heads. Suddenly, the elevator chimed and the door slid open. They were all stunned for a moment. 3/3 Subscribed 5 Likes Editorial Board Editorial Board Our editorial team works behind the scenes to refine each chapter, maintain consistency, and deliver the best reading experience.
