Chapter 365 ༥ ཊཱི 12%། 55 vouchers Inside the Traditional Medicine Association in Haliville, the boardroom was buzzing with heated arguments. Quincy looked worried and spaced out. Quincy thought, 'Ever since I got that call from Mr. Gibson, I couldn't help but feel anxious. Ms. Carter, again!' The first time he heard her name was during that heated dispute between Herbal Haven and Remedy House. The girl, her face obscured by a baseball cap and black mask, not only rattled Caleb but single-handedly brought down the Lopez family. Her actions left an indelible mark.

The second instance occurred at Haliville Hospital. There, for all to witness, Creed, a man who typically acted as though he were above all others, was surprisingly terrified. He actually bowed before a pale-skinned girl. And now, it was the third time. Ever since Paul's accident and the Penn School's decline, these members had all been circling the chance to lead the team to the International Herbal Medicine Conference like vultures over a feast. Everyone was scheming so hard you could practically see the gears turning in their heads.

But no one could've guessed that this prime opportunity would get snatched away by some random girl nobody had ever even heard of. One member said, "Quincy, come on. The Penn School just had a major incident, and now we are headless. Our enemies are just waiting for us to mess up. You want a little girl to lead us? Isn't that making us a laughingstock?" Another member chimed in, "Yeah! It's like we're handing those Tongalians a message on a silver platter, telling them. Clusia's got no one left worth showing." "And the Penn family?

Seriously, they went and picked some showgirl to represent the Penn School? That's just nuts!" "Since when does some showgirl get to stand for us? Does she even have any credentials at all?" "Well, we're done for. This line of work is absolutely screwed this time." The elders all talked over each other, voices rising in a jumble of complaints. The room buzzed with nonstop bickering and grumbling. Quincy could only stay silent. 'Quit your yammering! I said, quit it. All you old geezers, just zip it already! Just then, Quincy's phone buzzed with an urgent ringtone.

When Creed's name lit up on the screen, he felt his heart skip a beat. Quincy barked, "Quiet!" In an instant, everyone snapped their attention to him. Quincy didn't dare hesitate and picked up the call. But the next second, he shot to his feet so fast his chair toppled over behind him. "What did you just say?" His face was a picture of shock. The others looked at each other in confusion. 'Something's wrong?' everyone thought at once. ***** Except for the grand opening sales, Medicine Street had never seen this kind of excitement.

People whispered among themselves, with occasional gasps of surprise. Stella sat in a chair Fabian had hauled over from Fortune House hands draped over the armrests, her face blank and unreadable, giving off serious boss vibes. Her fingers tapped the armrest with calculated precision. Her gaze was cold as a blade. Lucas sat obediently beside her, his chubby little feet swinging in the air. He was cuteness overload. 1/3 12:03 Wed, Feb 11 GO Chapter 365 ཊཱི, 12% # 55 vouchers There were people moaning and writhing on the ground.

With that mess in front of them, Landen and the old man just stood off to the side, holding their breath and not daring to make a sound. Just moments ago, Landen's eyes nearly popped out of his head shock. He was shaking his head like crazy, as if he could rattle the horror right out of his skull. "Ms. Carter, Fabian said, stone-faced as he stepped out of the shop, carefully carrying something in his hands. Stella lifted her gaze to meet his. "Take a look, old man. Is this your valerian root?" Fabian said, unfolding the cloth to reveal a wild valerian root resting inside.

The old man's hands shook with excitement. "Yes, that's it. That's my herb." But before anyone could react, the shop assistant, his face swollen and bruised, suddenly started yelling at the top of his lungs, "You're all finished! I'm getting reinforcements. You actually dared to mess with the Traditional Medicine Association. You're dead meat." As soon as he finished, the clerks from the other shops came charging out, each one brandishing whatever they could grab. They looked like a bunch of thugs. Their faces twisted with menace.

Just when the crowd thought things were about to get ugly, Lucas's eyes lit up. He whipped out a bottle of milk from his little shark backpack, reached out to Stella, and gave her a bright, hopeful look with those big, sparkling eyes. "Try not to kill anyone," Stella said coolly, handing the milk bottle back to Lucas like it was no big deal. She had no idea how jaw-dropping her words sounded. Lucas slurped his milk with a happy sigh, totally carefree. "Don't worry about a thing," Fabian said with a cold smirk, rolling up his sleeves.

He strode straight toward the thugs, his steps steady and his expression icy. Five minutes later, Landen could only stare in stunned silence. Everyone was utterly speechless. The place looked like a warzone. People were groaning everywhere, and bodies sprawled out in every direction. The shop assistant stammered, "Who the hell are you?" He just stood there, totally speechless, eyes wide in disbelief. Not a trace of that swagger from earlier was left. Stella shot him a cold, half-smiling glance. "Traditional Medicine Association?

So, you actually remember you're with the Traditional Medicine Association? For a second there, I thought was dealing with the mafia." Then, Stella lowered her gaze, her long, thick lashes casting shadows on her skin. In a cold, commanding tone, she called out, "Come out and get to work." From the darkness behind her, members of the Fourth Unit of Red Shadow appeared without a sound. Each one looked like a lethal enforcer. Landen was floored all over again. 'Where the heck did these guys come from?' he thought.

"Take down all their signs," Stella said lazily, her voice cold as ice slicing through the tension. "Yeah!" members of the Fourth Unit barked. They didn't hesitate The squad spun around and got to work. One after another, the shop signs were ripped down without a stuggle. In no time, the whole street was left bare, every storefront stripped clean. Everyone turned to look at Stella, who was still sitting there. Her fingers were still toying with an herb. But just one glance from her was enough to send a chill down everyone's spine, making them freeze in place, not daring to even breathe.

That was like stomping all over their family legacy. Stella paused for a moment. Before Landen could even get a word out, she already knew what he was about to say. She said, her voice flat and emotionless, "Landen, respect isn't something handed to us. We have to fight for it ourselves." Landen was taken aback.

As Stella spoke, Fabian's Fourth Unit hal already smashed the signs to pieces, tossing them onto the square in front of everyone. Then, they doused the wreckage with gasoline and turned to look at Stella. Stella slowly rose to her feet and walked over. Landen hurried after her. "Clusia Traditional Medicine is surrounded on all sides. Predators are just waiting to tear us apart, and our next generation of heirs is nowhere to be found," Stella said, her voice icy. Landen felt his scalp tingle with dread. Everyone held their breath.

"The Penn School, abandoned by all today, is what Clusia Traditional Medicine will become tomorrow," Stella said, turning her head to take the match from Fabian, her face completely expressionless. Not far away, a line of luxury cars screeched to a stop, their brakes slamming in perfect rhythm like a drumline. The doors burst open. Members of the Traditional Medicine Association go out and were shocked. "Where the hell is everybody?" "Goddammit! What happened to my shop's sign?" "Mine's gone, too.

Are you kidding me?" They frantically checked their own storefronts; panic etched on their faces. Then, the sounds of groaning and chaos made them whip around. They locked eyes with Stella. Her lips curled into a frosty, taunting smirk. 3/3 AD Comment Send gift Editorial Board Editorial Board Our editorial team works behind the scenes to refine each chapter, maintain consistency, and deliver the best reading experience.
